Summary:

The first time he showed up at her door, she raised an eyebrow, confused. The second time, she was surprised he came back. By the third time, she could safely assume it was their Friday Night.

Friday Night is Hargreeves Siblings Night.

Sneak peek:

“Guys, we survived three apocalypses.” Allison was standing in the living room, arms crossed, eyes scanning the room like a general assembling her troops. “Each time, someone almost died—” 

“Technically, we did die in Dallas,” Five interjected, sprawled on a windowsill, eyes narrowing. “Or do I also count your dead bodies from that time I traveled to the future?” 

“Yes. No. Thanks, Five, for that… ever-so-helpful input.” Allison sighed, trying to refocus. Her idea had been simmering for four years while they tried to settle into this new world. A world so mundanely normal it was starting to feel suffocating, even for her. Acting wasn’t taking off, and she wanted to focus on her family. Not just Claire and Klaus—all of them. Birthdays and maybe Christmases, if she could persuade them, were no longer enough. Her siblings were becoming unreachable, unmotivated, and it was driving her crazy. 

“What I mean is… this family is messed up.” She gave each of them a hard look. They all avoided her gaze—except Five, of course. The little shit wasn’t going to back down. He was past sixty and growing up cutely—but don’t you forget deadly—in his youthful eighteen-year-old body (she wasn’t jealous!), and still acting like a brat. She bet he’d been trampling all over broken hearts without even realizing it, oblivious to his growing hotness, all the while cursing the idiocy of everyone around him.

Trying to keep my posts small so I don't clog the timeline ^-^" I've posted prompt 2 to the same work as the first for #fivelaweek24 but this is canon compliant, during the 6 year time skip, and they're just friendly. It's really short :3

2024 Fivela Appreciation Week Day 1- Poses

Yay for Fivela Week! 🥳☕️🍓🚆🪒🪓🥁💞

My idea was to have a collection of Fivela “poses” from various fanfics that people have wrote, but I bit off a little more than I could chew so please excuse the poor quality coloring and proportions…😅…

I also wasn’t able to get all the fanfics I would have liked (probably should’ve tried a poster board or individual pages for each instead 😂) but I managed to get four on the page and will add the links to the first chapter (or the series link) below the cut.

Five & Lila's Legacy

I'm surprised it took me this long to realize the importance of Dot and Herb together in companionship or something more in that true timeline. The bowl of strawberries is a nod to five and lila's romance together in the greenhouse. They grew strawberries together, Lila delivered a bowl of them to go with their wine on their Anniversary of being in 'Shits-ville' together. Strawberries are symbolic of Five/Lila. 🍓🍓🍓 Herb and Dot are ones that in their timeline were still significant to Five and to a lesser extent Lila. Worked together with the same organization. Herb was someone Lila did threaten but also helped lead her to the truth of her origins. Saying he was 'on her side'. Even when what remained of the commission was screaming for blood in the wake of The Handler's demise. Still wanted vengeance on Lila. Guilt by association. Herb and Dot give Lila an out to be placed in any timeline of her choosing to live her life. Likewise, Five respected Herb or as Lila called him "Herblet and cockroach". Felt the commission was safe in his hands since he was more of a decent person than the board and Handler. Dot was the one that handled apocalypse events. She was doing her job and didn't hold any ill will to Five despite having to blow the whistle on him. Had also asked him to lunch with her and most likely Herb when he returned to the commission for a minute.

The game Dot and Herb are playing is an old one called Backgammon which requires strategy. Just like Lila and five played chess in the subway which is also dependent on strategy to win.

Then their is the tree right behind them. Where their marigold soul flowers reside.

Just something to think about. 🍓💗☂️

EDIT: Forgot to mention Dot is the one making the move in the game she played with Herb. Just like it was Lila making the cheating move in her game of chess with Five ❤️🥹🍓

Greenhouse Appreciation

Been analyzing the Greenhouse of Fivela and noticed their two bikes with one in the backyard for possibly spare parts. Now I can't help but think Five and Lila rode their bikes together for a dates as they explore. Seems pretty docile for post apocalypse timelines.

A sunset toned knitted quilt draped over a chair I could see them cuddled underneath. Strawberries was the main fresh fruit grown there but nice to see their were other vegetables to live off of. Cabbage or lettuce, tomatoes, apples and garlic hanging down.

Had to throw this in here. Look at that big smile for Lila as she pelts him with berries to get him to talk to her. No more poker face five. Can't stop himself 💗🍓

Do you think Five Lila would have been a thing had Lila grown up with them in the academy?

If Lila was adopted by Reginald from Oct 1, 1989 then I think she might have grown up to also be very good with math and science like Five and Sloan. Lila admires it in them and I think she has it in herself too, it just wasn't fostered by The Handler who only drilled her in combat and languages to limit her. She's really smart, so with both intellect and mimic powers, she and Five probably would have been fierce rivals that Reginald pitted against each other. Poor Lila would have been made to experiment with everyone's powers as well, making her share the trauma of poor Klaus. She may be able to sense Viktor's powers and be mind wiped and kept away from him. She could be resented by all the siblings if she's always used as comparison by Reginald, but she's also a empathetic person at her core, so maybe she could have been helping them through the stumbling blocks of the early day of mastering their powers. Competitive Five and Lila might have gotten stuck in the apocalypse together in a time jump mishap, so instead of Five and Delores, it would be Five and Lila for 40 years as the last two people on earth, probably starting with lots of bickering but also taking care of each other, with how they see each other changing as they grew older through the decades. They would both get recruited to be Commission assassins and become the deadliest couple in all of space and time. They could debate about the math as they make their portal back to 2019 and they both end up back in their de-aged selves at Reginald's funeral. So yes, Five and Lila still could possibly have been a thing if she was there from the beginning.

Five’s Room:

I was originally just going to put this in with the rest of my details but this seems like it needs a post of its own. We get a good look at Five’s room in 1x02, 1x04, and 1x05

Five’s room has

stacks of papers and a few binders, plenty of books, and a pile of chalk. Also there’s some kind of golden metallic thing? It’s like a music box or maybe a compass of some kind?? I can’t tell but we see it on the desk again in 1x04 with Luther, Diego, and Pogo in Five’s room.

oddly enough, there are also quite a few toys. Toy trucks and some lego-like creations. It seems strange for him but maybe it’s a reminder that he really was just a kid when he disappeared and he never got the chance to fully faze those out for his teenage interests?

there’s also a rock em’ sock em’ poster

Five has a blanket with an alien spaceship and stars pattern at the foot of his bed

the trim on his walls shows a little boy pulling a red wagon with a mannequin. In shorts no less.

he has a pile of uniforms on one of his shelves

he also has a dartboard on the wall by the door and a toy/model excavator in the window

there’s posters all over Five’s walls in 1x04. In 1x05 he takes them down so he can write on the walls

*I think* there’s also a CD player on his nightstand

there’s a little colonial wagon on top of his armoire by the door (Luther punched a hole in said armoire in 1x04)

In that same scene you can also see behind Diego there is a little picture/poster of a scooter with what I think is a racer on it?

Maybe little baby Five liked racing/cars? Or maybe he liked making scale models and building things and that’s why there’s legos along with all the cars and stuff? I don’t really know, but either way I think it’s pretty interesting.
