companies are delusional if they think consumers don't notice shrinkflation. less food in the package, less medicine in the jar, less whatever in the wherever, it doesn't matter where and it's almost always noticeable. like i just finished one box of medicine and we opened another allegedly identical one that we just bought and lo and behold, the four middle medicine segments were gone from the package. they took out four pills from the same sized box and sold it at the same price without any indication on the box other than the small number in the corner. ridiculous

i support universal free healthcare for one simple reason: if you are diagnosed with a terminal illness you should quit your job. quitting your job is the correct response to terminal illness. but you can’t do that if your healthcare is tied to your job

Also, while all swords have a natural flex to them, it in nowhere near the severity of the foam sword while swinging. It could be argued that it is harder to use these techniques with the properly weighted foam sword because it flexes on each swing, throwing the weight off center.

That said, not all greatswords were designed to move this dexterously.

I believe the largest version of the claymore was designed for knocking down pole arms and knocking enemies off horseback. It was never a sharp weapon, as it's overall mass was enough to mame or kill. That design was intentionally heavy, though one may have still been able to swing it with some dexterity (I'd need to do more research, as my short searches were plagued by AI written articles that said basically nothing).
