what really gets me, after the initial shock, is the fact that what i remember as a group of bright eyed, over ambitious kids are now grown adults who are able to navigate the complexity of this situation.

we not only grew up with the boys, but we grew up with each other.

a lot of us have careers, families, a whole life far detached from the one we used to dedicate to a group of five boys (and their families, hairstylist, bodyguards… even a pigeon). and in one moment, simultaneously and instantly, all those memories came pouring and flooding back.

it is all the love to all of the boys, of course it is, but i think we all understand why it's sending special love to louis because i just can't wrap my head around going through so much pain again and again and again. and i know he will be coming out of this even stronger, but at some point you've got to ask yourself how much one single person can take

I just logged onto my account after years, to this family we all built together for our mutual love for the boys.

I'm in absolute shock reading the news that Liam has sadly passed away. One direction was always so important to me, to us. It's a strange feeling knowing we will never hear him sing live again. We grew up with him, and watched him grow as a man. Now I may not agree with the lifestyle he chose after one direction but no one deserves to go the way he did. He had a son who will no longer have a dad, sisters who will no longer have a brother, parents who will no longer have a son.

This is heartbreaking news and I'm sending all my love to his family and friends at this awful time 💔❤️

To be honest with you, I wasn’t going to do a solo venture. I was just going to go into songwriting and carry on and do that. but then I was like, ‘you’ve been trying to do this since you were 14 years old. you would be ridiculously stupid to turn down the option to have a deal.’ coming out of the band, we had some pretty good opportunities around us. I had to do something.

no but I'm genuinely so thankful for the people here, the community here. people who understand the grief, the anger, the devastation. even when I've been unable to find the words to say, just seeing someone say exactly what I'm feeling and others sharing it, like yeah they understand. they know it too. they're feeling it too. i really don't know how I would've coped without you people here.
