Thank yew vv much c: I wish more folks in the fandom did complicated content with Cyn that isn't just small baby or TERRIFYING CREATURE of a portrayal. She is a very complex character that I think the fandom should explore upon more often. Especially since we don't really know how true Cyn's personality is.

What’s J like in this au? I think you implied in a drawing that Cyn (the drone I recall, not the solver) had a small crush on Tessa in the manor. Does she clash with J because of that?

J did NOT like Cyn. At all.

Like, Cyn didn't really see J as a threat or anything, mostly was just fine with her but kinda understood J was a tough cookie.

J knew Cyn's facade right away, looking cute and innocent to get on Tessa's good side just to snag her. She did NOT like that at all.

J and Tessa's relationship was obviously really close. If anything, Tessa was obviously more comfortable around J than anyone else. I wouldn't say J would be the FIRST one Tessa yoink'd and probably fixed successfully, but that could be a neat idea. Tessa pretty much helped J feel comfortable in her skin(?) with her identity issues. Tessa had SOMETHING with J, obviously it didn't go far enough considering the incident in particular.

Post-manor J is a different can of worms. Pretty much I'm unsure if she fully knew that Tessa was Cyn entirely, but if she did know, she would be fine with Cyn being around. Cyn is all that's left of Tessa, J wants to preserve as much as she could with the relationship she wanted to have with her. Cyn (being solver brainwashed) saw J as a favorite for almost the same reason. Also because of J's strong loyalty towards her. Ough, what a kiss-ass.

As for post-fusion, I'm still trying to figure out where to place her while writing in between chapters. J is still in her copium being away from everyone, Cyn and J will definitely have a personal moment in the future. Their relationship is probably going to be the MESSIEST in the entire AU.

So is Tessa in the Solver/in Uzi?

This is Persephone!

Persephone is basically a dream manifestation of Cyn's one-sided romantic interest towards Tessa in the past. It is the solver itself morphed into this appearance to constantly tease and bicker Cyn with her insecurities to lure her into doing the unthinkable. Cyn, being separated from the solver entirely post-fusion, is no longer haunted by Persephone in her dreams or mind. Instead, Uzi is the one getting dreams of her with the solver still going by it's code of assuming it's still inside of Cyn. However, unlike Cyn, Uzi isn't easily manipulated by this pink lady and her tricks. Which will cause a bit of conflict... Persephone is hot pink to represent love and obsession, how Cyn used to feel towards Tessa since she couldn't properly understand what healthy love truly was supposed to be at the time. She's represented with nature to conflict with the trope of nature vs machine to antagonize Cyn even more. She's also loosely inspired from Hanahaki disease.

De-silhouetted, Persephone would look closer to Cynessa than to Tessa. At least in my style on how I draw Cynessa... Persephone technically takes traits from Cyn aswell with her appearance and personality, trying to claim the Cynessa form back to utilize it since Cyn isn't in that form anymore. Unlike Cynessa, Persephone isn't a living corpse. Just a living being that tries to look like one.

Persephone (for now) is exclusively a dream being. She is not physical, but a very manipulative bitch.

If you're not, this is a blog AU based on the idea of Cyn being rebuilt into a new body from Uzi's code without her having the Solver. So yeah, that's it. I'll make more updates and a guide soon!
