Big Bad Goat
A Hermitcraft Fanon Swap Drabble Trade with @thatgaydemigodnerd, based on the prompt 'Wolf Doc with Goat/Sheep Ren' :D
It’s done.
Doc’s tail wags with heinous intent. This’ll be perfect. The hermits want a big, bad wolf? He’ll give them a big, bad wolf. He howls with laughter, they don’t know what’s about to hit them!
He pads up to the wither skull farm, opening the safety doors, but-
“Ren? What are you doing here?!”
The goat hybrid tumbles out from within the redstone, tripping over his own hooves. Some redstone wiring gets pulled loose on his horns.
“Sorry, sorry. I wanted to surprise you, but-” Ren bleats out a laugh.
Doc growls. Broken redstone. What a surprise, indeed.

hermit fanon swap- arctic fox tango? :0
It came with the territory. Which makes sense, really. But Tango is as Tangos are, and, well, he’s not very observant, let’s put it like that.
A tail fluffy enough to rival Etho’s swishes underneath his Dungeon Master robes. His hair now white as snow, little ears perking up from between his locks.
Claws grip the ice when he runs, never cold. He knows exactly where all the ravagers are just by listening. Or sniffing.
Tango wonders what’ll happen when he eventually leaves the chilly underground. Will he revert back to his usual, or will his fur turn dark instead?

Drabble 7 - Welcome to the Ancient Capital
“...that concludes our section on cursed artefacts. Now, dear listeners, you may be aware of the sculk that has recently appeared all over the Capital. Let me reassure you: it’s not just all over the Capital. Several other emperors have left worrying messages about the fungus. More on this, after the weather—”
“—Um…Dear listeners, I have some bad news. It’s not the sculk, worrying as it is. I… I think I’m a ghost? I picked up the old crown and… I still seem to be able to operate the microphone, at least. And that’s really all that matters, isn’t it?”

Ohh requests.
Turn your Favorite hermit into a favorite mob :)
Drabble 6 - Trapped Within
The dungeon liked Etho.
It liked him so much that it wanted him to always be close.
All was well, since Etho never strayed far from it.
But it wanted him closer.
The next time Etho entered, would be the last.
He wouldn’t notice the widening grin underneath his mask, obscured by pure joy and adrenaline coursing through him as he slid past evokers.
Nor would he notice his fingers turning pale grey. His eyes a pure, glowing white to match his hair.
Etho wouldn’t notice until it was too late. Until he became a part of a bigger whole.

Drabble 5 - Like a Frog in a Log
Rumor has it that there’s a witch who can help out those who have lost their bodies. Roaming souls, specters, or spirits who wish to interact with the world again.
Rumor also has it that it’s no coincidence that this witch knows how to help out these people. They say she’s practicing illegal kinds of magic. They say that she…
…Rumor has it that it’s she who rips the souls from human bodies, fusing them with inanimate objects to bring them to life.
They say that it’s a process so painful, the souls forget they were once human at all.

Drabble 4 - BigB's Soulbound Secret
What a week.
More than a week, actually. Eight days of exciting new experiences, secrets, betrayal, and death.
…
And dog ears.
It was nice, if unexpected, having something like that binding him to his soulmate. Fun for sure, but BigB’s glad it’s over now.
…It should be over, now.
His dog ears still swivel on his head, pinning back in concern.
And a tail—a tail that is attached to him and moving—almost makes him yelp.
He thought everything ended when he and Ren died, but their connection mustn’t have severed properly.
Grian’s got a lot to explain.

Drabble 3 - Underneath the Clock Tower
“Keralis, you… you’re…”
He remembers the blood. The scream. The taste.
He didn’t mean to. Something… something changed. He couldn’t wipe the shocked look off his face after that night.
“No… Cleo, please. Cleo, no!”
He can feel Ren’s eyes burning through his back. This terrible ache in his temples. The red under his fingernails.
He doesn’t want this. And yet, he hungers for it. The thrill. The death. The unrest among fellow townsfolk.
Keralis sneaks out at night, following his nose. He returns, sated, one more life lost.
Ren gives him a thumbs up when he thinks nobody looks.

Drabble 2 - On vampires and trading cards
Vampires aren’t real. As everybody knows. You’ll never see one outside, at any time of day, because they simply don’t exist. And they certainly don’t like rearranging their extensive collections of trading cards.
Take Wels, for example. He’s not a vampire! If he were, would he spend months on end forgetting to eat, sleep, and build, in favor of opening card packs? Would he lose hours upon days upon weeks of time sorting them by type and number? Would his fellow vampires—hermits drag him outside, to get lost in the next card-like game?
Of course not. Vampires don’t exist.

Drabble 1 - Possessed
“Oh, this is different,” the new voice in his head says.
Cub blinks, registering the flickering effects of blindness and night vision. The faint ringing in his ears, the whispers from below aren’t as prominent as before, but noticeable enough.
He takes an experimental step. Hmm. He’s still in control. No slowness, no enhanced abilities, just him.
“I seem to notice that while you’re definitely in my head, Sparrow, you’re not… really possessing me. Am I right in that assumption?”
“Oh…” He can hear Sparrow smile, somehow. “No, I can’t do much, but I do have to be very careful.”
