Putin vs Trump-MBTI
Vladimir Putin: [Ti-Se-Ni-Fe~ISTP.] Physically oriented, calm and dispassionate, frank, independent, opportunistic, militaristic, highly values competence of individuals, very focused on the present (or the future) - dismissive of the past.Expects mutuality from other powerful states (Fe), has egalitarian style of communication.
Donald Trump:[ Se-Ti-Fe-Ni~ESTP.] Trump as a politician and as a person is a guy who shoots from the hip, speaks before he thinks, takes action quickly before thinking through the consequences thoroughly, and is incredibly impulsive. He says and does things in the moment to appeal to his audience or to win the favor of a crowd (Se-Fe) that have very little long-term viability in terms of being actionable claims.

Second vs Third function:
IXFJ: Fe wants to judge things according to social behavior and external moral ethics, but Ti wants to understand not only the reasons why these decisions are being made but why it feels a compulsive need to judge them.
EXTP: Ti wants to assert the logical impracticalities of a situation astutely but also doesn’t want you to feel bad that you’re wrong (Fe), so it may hesitate to assert what it really wants to say in case you’re offended.
IXTJ: Te just wants to get things done and accomplish things, to objectively list the facts of the situation and move toward completion of the project… but Fi is reminding Te that these actions must align with an inner value system and Fi might even prevent Te from action that would be financially or job-wise advantageous because Fi believes to do so would be… immoral.
EXFP: Fi wants to indulge its feelings and come to a full understanding of them, aligning every action with an inner moral code of behavior, but Te demands action and reminds Fi that emotion or strong moral beliefs are nothing if they do not manifest in the real world, with tangible results.
ISXP: Se just wants to objectively assess situations and take action in its environment to bring about new and exciting experiences, but Ni is demanding it to ruminate on things and see beneath the surface, to find a core “truth” in what’s happening.
ENXJ: Ni wants to spend time ruminating in high abstractions and indulging in inner imaginative experiences, while Se is constantly distracting it with the desire to act in the environment and transform dreams into reality.
INXP: Ne wants to engage in all ideas and actively pursue novel experiences that will bring greater awareness of the connection between all things, while Si feels more comfortable staying home or reminding Ne that details exist for a reason.
ESXJ: Si constantly accesses what is familiar and understood, in a personal filing system, and yearns to cling to those perceptions and beliefs, while Ne is nagging at Si to break away from convention and explore alternative possibilities.

Stringer Bell-ENTJ
Te-Ni-Se-Fi   [Official Typing]
Tumblr media
Te-Ni
When you look at Stringer you see a man divided between who he wants to be and who he is because of his environment.A man born into a ghetto life-style who wants to make it in the business world. He uses his main strengths Te-extraverted thinking and Ni-introverted intuition to lead a drug organization while his partner and best friend Avon is in prison. But even more then being a rational head of the duo,he is an idealist at his core who wants to revolutionize drug trade and turn their operations legal. His desire is to be someone who is making it out there in the real world with the real sharks...but he finds out too late that he could never escape his tough upbringing.Even though he takes economics classes, manages co-op and builds new strategies for drug-trade to function without violence, his main fault proves to be that he thinks everyone can be reasoned with..including Marlo. Also his many schemes like turning Omar and Brother Mouzone against each other which gets him killed in the end.Since The Wire is big on chess metaphors, you can see that Stringers best fit is the queen...she can go anywhere she wants...perhaps too much.
Tumblr media
Se-Fi
And here we are for Stringers last two functions:Se and Fi respectively.
As much as Mr.Bell can plan, contemplate and analyze his and others actions,he still succumbs to his impulses and need for swift action. Shown in his opportunistic deal with Prop Joe,his scheming to get both Brother Mouzone and Omar killed, which bites him in the ass at the end.Sometimes he will express his anger by kicking and punching objects around him mostly to assert himself again.String likes to be distanced from the street life as much as he can,but when he gets conned by Clay Davis is not averse to getting him removed by force.String’s Fi is the weak point of himself, since he puts his feelings behind a rough exterior and rarely shows any principles except those that apply to himself. No one will stand in his way,and not even his partners cousin whom he gets killed.String does seem to have some sentiment for Avon and feels a bit remorseful for backstabbing him...but nothing stands in the way of Stringer’s ambitions of getting ahead in life...except of course himself.RIP String.
