WHAT HAPPENED WITH HIVLIVING
Naj allolesbean does not exist.
Israa blueskysapphic does not exist.
They are sockpuppets of the same person.
“Israa,” in the guise of the tumblr user blueskysapphic and ao3 user iluzjonista, spent most of late 2015 and 2016 collecting fans for their HIV-centric Hamilton high school AU. They claimed to be an HIV-positive Chinese-Pakistani trafficking survivor, living in India with their Catholic Somali-American wife. They claimed to be nonbinary. They claimed at one point that they had been pregnant, and then that they miscarried.
I knew Israa was lying about their location several months ago, when secondhand gossip got to me that she was an American student. However, the person who originated that gossip was a younger person and former target of Israa’s wrath. They were very, very afraid of being attacked by Israa again and told me they did not want to talk about it in public. I respected that, even though I was totally, totally disgusted by this. If she lied about living in India, then obviously she had lied about her status, and used those lies about her status to give advice she shouldn’t have been giving and to ask for donations. But there wasn’t any evidence, I didn’t think, without this person, who was so terrified.
Fast forward a few months.

Where's it made? Who brought it here? How much were they paid? Who makes it? Is it made in separate parts and put together? How much were they all paid to do this? Where do they get the materials? Who paid for that? Who brings it there? How much were they paid? Who streamlined the base materials? How much were they paid? Who gathered the base materials? Where? How much were they paid? Is it good for them? Is it good for us? Is it good for the land? Is it necessary? Is it biodegradable? How much does it hurt? Do I need it? Do I even want it?

Contrary to popular belief the biggest beginner's roadblock to art isn't even technical skill it's frustration tolerance, especially in the age of social media. It hurts and the frustration is endless but you must build the frustration tolerance equivalent to a roach's capacity to survive a nuclear explosion. That's how you build on the technical skill. Throw that "won't even start because I'm afraid it won't be perfect" shit out the window. Just do it. Just start. Good luck.

“And by ‘empty spaces,’ I mean the space where my wife used to be before she died by suicide after I detailed my affairs in a book, cut off her court-approved credit card so she couldn’t buy groceries, gas, or medical care for our son, denied her mental health care, and left her to drown in grief alone. Love ya, Babe!”

Kid today (probably like 6 years) came up to me and was like "teacher teacher what's your name" and i was like "asha :) also im not a teacher" and he was like "okay asha asha asha I need help" and i was like "okay buddy what's wrong" and he showed me this chunk of metal he'd found sitting in the sun that he was just carrying around and it was super sharp and super hot from the sun and he was like "my hand hurts :(" and i was like "ok. put that down. does it still hurt?" And he did and was like "no." and then he picked it up again and immediately went "my hand hurts :(" again and then I was like "kid. put that down and stop touching it" and he was like "ok but when I touch it my hand hurts :(" and i was like "Please Just Stop Touching That. If you dont touch it your hand won't hurt" and this went on for like another 2 minutes before i got him to realize that if he stopped touching the metal it would not hurt. Kids are so fucking weird man

FDR already solved the "what are people supposed to DO in a post-scarcity capitalist society besides imploding and then overthrowing the government" with the New Deal and specifically the public works project/Works Progress Administration. the library doesnt really NEED a cubist mural, especially not a government-funded one, but that's the kind of shit you actually should be directing taxpayer money towards if you want to create a relatively stable capitalist socialist state. i mean we did and do actually need bridges and manhole covers and asphalt and apartment blocks which were also a major part of the program as i understand it, in current year of our lord a ton of American infrastructure is still running on top of New Deal concrete which desperately needs retrofitting and maintenance lol, but the new deal funded a lot of library murals too. borderline unthinkable in 2025 to imagine a widely-known and publicly-accepted presidential plan to occupy idle labor force during an employment crisis with building playgrounds and lawns and so on

my unpopular opinion is that i hate tiktok because now people just publicly watch loud ass videos in public spaces with no regard for anyone else. 100% it was not this bad with youtube, it’s such a different thing with tiktok. put on headphones. you are grown.
