KJM Cosmetics Cheek and Lip Tint has long been a holy grail staple in the local lip tint market and has been cited by some as the brand that really took on the lip tint craze to a whole new level. I know, I know, this review is a few years too late! I've had a lot of people asking me to review this since 2016, but at the time, it was quite difficult to discern authentic ones from fakes, so I never got to review it. Now, with the brand having a more mainstream reach and having legitimate sales channels, I was finally confident enough to buy some tints to try out.

These are very watery. They work well in rollerball packaging as they're runny. This is definitely not the gel type tints that Korean brands have, not mousse type, and also not oil type either. It's really watery.   

*As for lasting power, I gave a conditional 'Long' rating. Upon first application, it fades out to about 50% the moment I eat something. But when I go for a second application later on and apply lip balm, it lasts about 4 hours assuming I don't eat anything oily. This is the kind of product that will need retouching to keep it intense all day, but it adheres well enough to the lips that one doesn't need to retouch so many times within a day. 

As for the texture, as it's very watery, it highlights dry patches further. Actually, in general, as someone with dry lips, I can't use translucent or near-transparent tints, regardless of the brand. I need something a little opaque or a little structured like mousse tints so as not to highlight the dry patches on my lips further. I can use this with lip balm to make it comfortable, but appearance-wise, the dry patches on my lips are still visible. 

For people without dry lips, I can understand why this became a cult favorite. The shades are beautiful, the packaging is straightforward and easy-to-use, and it's affordable. 

At Php110 for 10mL, this packs good value for money for the quantity. I have my own chronic problem of dry lips, so I cannot be using this often. But I like the shades and I do not wonder why everyone is so obsessed with these. Overall, if you don't have dry lips, you'll like these tints.
