i know the pjo tv show is beyond help aside from the lovely main cast but it irritates me to no end when they add in useless side characters while deeply struggling to properly characterize their most important ones. alison my ass, chris rodriguez is RIGHT THERE. solely focus on that, if at all. given how short these episodes are and the resulting shallowness of some of most pivotal scenes, dishing out screen time like oprah to a bunch of nobody characters is not going to elevate the show in any way, shape, or form. deviating from the text-established percy-centric narrative and introducing additional plot points to some behind-the-scenes luke narrative when they miss the mark on the main storyline is just yet another distraction and waste of energy on everyone’s part

My favorite part of the PJO TV series casting announcements is that there's always a tweet of the new actor and Walker Scobell as Percy saying "their beef is about to be insane". No matter what. Ares actor? Beef is gonna be insane. Hades and Zeus actors? Beef is gonna be insane. Thalia? Beef is gonna be insane/he's gonna make fun of her accent and she'll electrocute him. Now, Athena? Again, the beef is about to be crazy.

And it's always right. That kid had beef with everyone and their mom.

I have a headcanon that gods can’t flirt at all. Like, Lester ain’t awkward flirting because he is Lester, he is awkward flirting because gods rely solely on their looks to get laid, so they can’t make a good first (second, third and fourth) impression without looking like supermodels.

Without their looks, they have negative rizz.

This to say: Hephaestus is probably the one god who can actually flirt.

(It’s not exactly a headcanon if you consider that their most used dating skills are kidnapping, turning into animals and saying “I love you” in the first interaction)
