I think it's offensive to imply any of the characters have any sort of Christian leaning beliefs. The show is great because well it does have some cultural touchstones of Christianity. It doesn't force the religion down someone's throat. I mean, they clearly learned their lesson by not having Lindsey Higgins not appearing again on screen.
