You stop as you see dishes stacked on top of each other. It's been multiple times she did this and you forgave her every time but, what's the excuse this time?

It was to early in the morning and you to argue with her so you just turned the water on and did them yourself.

'Babe!' Abby yelled throughout the house.

You ignored her as you hward her coming closer and closer to the kitchen.

'Oh, shit.' she says after seeing you do the dishes. 'I completely forgot.'

'Yeah?' you say sarcastically. 'For the fourth time this week?'

She walks behind you and hugs your waist. 'Babe I'm sorry.'

'Get off of me, Abby' you say shrugging her off.

She rolls her eyes at your childish antics. She leans back on the kitchen island behind you.

'How did you sleep?' she ask

'Fine.'

She throws her head back bored with your answer. 'What did you dream about?'

'Nothing.'

'Can you be more enthusiastic?'

You turn around looking for a napkin to wipe your hands. 'I would if you washed the dishes.'

Before you could take a piece from the roll she picked it up and held it above her head.

You sigh before reaching 'Abby, not right now.'

'Accept my apology.' she says.

You stay silent folding your arms.

'Baby, please.' she begs

You refuse to look at her in the eyes 'It's been multiple times.'

'I promise it won't happen again.' she says.

You look down at your feet 'Promise?'

She used her index finger and thumb lifting your chin up. 'Promise.' she smiles.

That smile. God, that smile. The smile that you loved so much. It was addictive and seemed to spread to you.

You bite your lip trying to contain it. 'Alright'

'Thank you.' she says pecking the side of your mouth.

'Abby!' you groan, digging your head into her neck so she couldn't see the things she does to you.

'Babe!' Abby gasps as you come inside the house with a bouquet of flowers.

'Happy anniversary!' you say as you bent down to kiss her cheek before handing her the flowers and chocolate.

She breathes in the scent of the flowers before exhaling. 'These are beautiful.'

The cat jumps off her as she stands up.She brings you into her embrace and rock side to side. 'I love 'em. Thank you' she kisses your forehead. You lay your head on her shoulder

'What's this?' you point to the coffee table that lays chocolates and a heart cake that says happy anniversary.

'Happy anniversary, right?' she says.You smile looking at her.

'I love it, Abby' You look at her eyes, putting loose strands of her hair behind her wars

She smiles back at you before pecking your lips.

'And I love you.' she pecks your lips again

For example you were brushing your teeth when she came up behind you and hugged your torso. She lightly kissed you shoulder and started to stare at you through the mirror. You didn't notice until you spit your toothpaste out.

You roll your eyes, trying to hide the fact that you had butterflies in your stomach.

She chuckles before leaning forward, teasing you. 'Yet, you love it.'

'I do' You giggle before wrapping your arms around her neck and kissing her.

“For me?” Abby says, watching as you hold out a bowl of sliced watermelons in front of her, eyes darting from the floor to the ceiling—looking everywhere but at her.

“Yeah,” you begin, “you said you liked them. I thought I’d make a bowl for you.” Abby doesn’t recall telling you such a small detail like that—and didn’t expect you to remember it either. She smiles, one that shows the pearls resting inside her gums—a smile that always seemed to make you shyer than you ever had been before.

“Can you look at me?” She asks, hands sunken into her grey sweats, eyes still on you—still so unbearably soft. She watches as your eyes grow wide—from embarrassment on your part, but she renders it such a sweet thing, to see you gushing over such a simplistic question.

“I—“ you start but you falter. She watches the struggle, the way you begin to chew on your cheek and the you try to slyly clutch the container against your chest. But she doesn’t comment. She doesn’t pry. She waits. And she watches as you look up to her eyebrows still knitted together in the way they always had been—something she found so appealing about you. And she finally meets your eyes. The ones she’s been searching for this entire time.

“I’m sorry.” You say, but she quickly rejects all of your apologies with a shake of her head as she takes her hands out of her pockets. “You don’t have anything to be sorry for. You haven’t done anything wrong.” She says, her smile dying down, but it’s there. More softer. So she doesn’t risk the chance of scaring you away.

“I just want you to look at me. You don’t have to, of course. I just like it when you do.” Abby watches as you fight the smile that tugs at your lips. She watches the way your eyes flicker from her face to every corner of the room.

And she can’t help but smile.

Going to parties is something Abby wasn't particularly sure about but, when you practically begged her to come with you she couldn't say no.

Abby watches as you dance drunkenly with your friend in your cute, little, skimpy dress.

Some insecure people might not let their girlfriend go out looking the way you look. Personally, Abby didn't care. She loved people knowing they could never have what she's got.

But what did get her was when a man came up behind you touching on you. That made her blood boil. You immediately moved away from the man and looked around for Abby. The man kept pulling you and grinding on you trying to get you to dance on him.

'We got a problem?' she spoke up, snatching you away from the man.

'You can't just take her.' The man slurred 'We were dancing.' he was about to grab your shoulder but before he could Abby punched him dead in the jaw.

You gasped and covered your mouth as the men fell to the floor. Abby didn't care though. She grabbed your waist while still staring at the man.

'You could never.' she says with a disgusted look on her face.

Everyone in the room looked at the scene going on. People from all over the house started running over to see what was happening.

'You okay, baby?' she asked, rubbing your back up and down.

You nod frantically in disbelief. 'Im good, babe'

'Let's get out of here.' she walks away with you in her arm but, you stop her.

'Wait...' you say bending over holding your stomach in pain before throwing up on the floor in front of you.
