I made this top design back in 2013 as a small patch and then jumped it to a shirt design in 2014. Recently I was cease-and-desisted by the Fox Corporation (you may have heard of them) so I can’t sell these anymore, which is unfortunate, but the real kicker is that HOT TOPIC sells this other shirt in the second photo.

I’m just one guy, printing shirts on a small table in my apartment. I am not even sort of getting rich off of this. More aptly said, I am an XFiles fan, making cheap things that both embrace the XFiles as well as embrace a healthy distrust of the police / feds / government. Hot Topic, on the other hand, is just trying to make money. There is no heart in what they do, and I hope that’s obvious. Support your friends, not the mall. Really.

did your sensor the images of your items that contained expletives of your own accord or did etsy force you to?

ETSY MADE ME isn’t that ridiculous? They don’t want to have a swear word on the ‘front’ image on any given item. It’s a little silly, but, well, whatever. So far it’s only applied to the F word. I can show all kinds of gross drawings, but no F word. What a world!

My wonderful friends Cadyn and Drew make amazing chocolate infused with other herbs / etc they grow in their permaculture garden in Virginia.
