chapter 6; ditto

as you walk into the cafe you’re greeted by atsumu at a table with his laptop open and a pastry next to it, you see him smile at you and stand up “hey yn” he says as he goes in for a hug, you’re shocked a bit because you weren’t expecting that nonetheless you hug him back “hey atsumu, ima grab and matcha and something to eat and then we can start on the assignment ok?” you say looking up at him as you set your things down on the table “cool sounds good” he says smiling sitting back down. You’ve both been sitting down for a bit talking about daily things and college classes, “okay let’s actually start on the assignment you had trouble with” you say “mmh okay” he says pulling up the assignment. Thankfully it was one you had did last semester so you already had the assignment on your laptop to show him “wait i did this last semester here you can just copy but make it seem like you did it obviously” you say laughing a bit “dude what no way, i wonder if you have any of my other assignments it would make this class so easy” he says as he’s writing down what he saw from your laptop. You honestly had hoped he didn’t invite you just to do this assignment but i guess it was kinda foolish to think so, i mean atsumu going after you? plus even if that was the case he wasn’t looking for anything serious, and as of recent that’s all that you seemed to crave something serious and real, and maybe you just wanted it to be him. “you good?” atsumu says snapping you out of your thoughts, “yeah im fine just lost n thought” you say looking back at him “oh well i got the assignment down thanks for that, but hey i gotta get going my volleyball practice is in an hour” he says nervously “oh okay. i should get going too i have some stuff to work on anyways” you say dismissively “well ill see ya around yn” he says waving you off with a smile, you wave back goodbye and then all of a sudden you feel your phone buzz
