Do you have any tips for hair? I cut my hair short like 6 months ago and it’s right above my shoulders, but with the whole Ed it takes longer since my hair isn’t as healthy. So I’m just curious if you have any tips for hair growth + getting healthier hair overall. I love your blog a lot, hope you have a nice day 💕
Hii, thank you sm! ♥ Also sorry for the late reply, I just had some tough time recently.
Yes of course I have tips for this one! My hair was once thin and in poor condition when I had raging ED and didn't take proper care of my hair, so there are some things that actually helped me to strengthen it and get new baby hair (while still having raging ED lmao). There you go:
Take your supplements. It's very important to provide your body with the necessary vitamins and minerals in the form of supplements if your diet is poor (I think I noticed the biggest difference in the condition of my hair and the amount of new baby hair when I got serious about my supplements and started taking them daily, so please do it).
Eat enough protein. You see, hair is primarily made up of a protein called keratin, so a lack of protein in the diet will most likely lead to hair loss and thinning. When you eat protein, your body breaks it down into amino acids which are then used to build new cells, including hair cells. If you don't get enough protein, your body rations the protein it does have, so less go towards hair growth.
Avoid doing things that damage your hair like heat styling (if you really have to, use something like heat protection spray), hot water (it should be lukewarm), sleeping with wet hair and rubbing wet hair with a towel (your hair is more prone to breakage when wet).
Massage your scalp regularly!!! I can't stress this enough, it improves blood circulation -> really makes your hair grow faster. Feels good too.
Wear protective hairstyles.
Trim your hair once in a while. Might seem counterintuitive but regular trims help minimize split ends which lead to breakage. I also just feel like my hair looks 100x better and healthier once it's trimmed.
Try to avoid stress. Seems impossible, ik, but high stress levels often lead to hair loss and slow hair growth, so do your best to manage stress through exercise, meditation or other techniques.
Good luck dear! ♥

Hey I was wondering what I could put in my water that would be low in calories? I have a really hard time drinking water just by it’s self 😭
Omg same. I hate plain water at room temperature with burning passion, literally makes me wanna puke lol.
Here's what you can do:
You can add slices or juice of citrus fruits like lemon, lime, orange or grapefruit; fresh herbs like mint leaves (so good for summertime), basil, rosemary, thyme; honey, ginger, cucumber slices for a better taste; fruits like berries (I personally love slices of strawberries, they look so pretty!), pineapple, mango, kiwi, peach, whatever you like really (you can crush it a little for stronger taste). You can find some very interesting combos on tiktok or pinterest!
You can keep your water in the fridge or add ice cubes. Personally, I find it so much easier to drink water when it's cold. Bonus: your body uses more energy to raise it's temperature. It's not much, but if you drink it cold all the time then it's like 80 calories burned in a day extra.
You might find drinking sparkling water easier. Still no calories, but may be more fun to drink.
Make your drink aesthetically pleasing - you might find it easier to drink your water if it looks pretty! For example: Keep it in a pretty water bottle / glass / glass jug / cup. Add some of the stuff mentioned above. You can even add edible flowers to make it look prettier. You can make your ice cubes pretty too! Some examples: Get ice cube trays in shapes that you like, could be hearts, butterflies, balls, stars etc. You can use food coloring so you end up with pink ice cubes or whatever color that you like (: You can also just use a smoothie to make some pretty and tasty ice cubes. Just pour your smoothie into ice cube tray and freeze it. You can add tiny pieces of food mentioned above to your ice cubes too! Just throw them into ice cube tray first and fill it up with water.
Have fun~!

Hi :) U can ignore this ask if u want but do yk how to identify an f3ti$h acc vs someone whos trying to be ur friend? I've been trying to make friends on here but I don't wanna talk to creeps lol
Hii! Here are some things you can look out for:
If they ask for your pictures. Kinda obvious one, but refuse and observe the way they react. Your typical creepy male won't respect a "no" and will most likely just keep talking about it, ask some dumb questions or maybe say something like "ok" but then ask again another time lol.
If you can sense the audacity lmao. Like you wouldn't even ask for their opinions but they will tell you anyway, acting as if they're in a position to judge you, your body, your way of eating etc.
If they don't know how to use emojis or gen z slang. You can easily tell if you're talking to someone older this way. Just tell them something you'd tell your typical tiktok girl and they most likely won't understand it and just gonna respond in a weird way lol.
If they lack communication skills, because so many males do. Usually they'd be slower than you and their sentences would be short (also- many of them think "ok" is a normal response to anything we say lmao), you can't rl sense emotions (other than anger) or empathy from their messages. They usually come off quite cold and not really understanding of your struggles.
If they say "sorry" randomly or not lol. Did you notice how common it is for ED girlies to say things like "I'm so sorry to hear this/that this happened :(", "sorry if that's too personal, but-", just sorry this sorry that. It doesn't come natural for your typical male.

hi!!! i was wondering if you had any tips for going into a cal deficit for someone that really enjoys food for its flavor? do you have any flavorful low cal meals/snacks? this is my biggest struggle because all the enjoyable food i eat is very high in calories :/
Heey! I totally get your struggle lol. Here are some things you can do:
Have alternatives that are lower in calories
(kinda obvious and boring, I know, but let's start here)
Try switching to zero calorie drinks, light versions of sauces, 0% or low fat milk, yoghurts, sweeteners, eggs to egg whites (or mix both), fried food to baked food, fatty meat to lean meat etc. Whatever that's going to be similar but lower in calories.
Examples:
Craving a Big Mac? You can make a Big Mac salad. You know there's lettuce, onions and pickles in your regular Big Mac, so make it the base of your salad. Make a low calorie version of Big Mac sauce (like you can get light mayonnaise instead of regular one and mix it with a 0% fat yoghurt). There are some really good recipes online.
Craving fries? Have them baked instead of deep fried, so they are lower in calories, but still taste nice with some ketchup.
Search for low calorie recipes like soups and salads that include herbs, spices and flavourful food that is low in calories like mushrooms, onions, pickles, garlic, ginger, kimchi etc.
Mix your favourite food that is high in calories with food that is really low in calories
Examples:
Craving fried chicken? Have 2 wings instead of 5, with a salad on the side or just cut the meat and mix it with a salad. Have a bite of the thing you like, have some salad, repeat. It's still enjoyable and you end up being full.
Craving a strawberry shake? Get a small one (or share it with someone) and have water on the side. Drink some of your shake, drink some water, repeat. It's going to make you full and water seems to taste better after having a taste of sugar too lol
...or just drink as much water/tea as you can before having a meal
It's easier to enjoy a small portion of your favourite food when feeling full. Also try to chew it slowly so you can really focus on the taste.
Now, these might not be the best advices, but really helped me when desperate:
Just chew your food and spit it out. Might take some practice to resist the urge to swallow (lol I can't) but this actually saved my ass from binges many times when I felt this urgent need to stuff my face with food asap, yk.
Eat some salt/hot spices/hot sauce. This one helped me to resist cravings for salty/fried food. I'd even carry around a small bottle of hot sauce or this soup sachet from instant noodles when I was going out and had a hard time resisting cravings lol.
Anyway-
I hope it's going to get easier for you soon. Good luck!

Do you think metabolism days work//are worth the extra calories?
I think it depends on your goal really. If you don't have much weight to lose, you wanna go crazy with restriction for a week or two, then metabolism days may not be much needed. If you have more weight to lose tho, like you need to restrict for weeks or months even, then yeah, I think that metabolism days are totally worth it. Simply for making it easier to stick to a restrictive diet long term.
Some reasons:
You're not going to gain fat from eating your TDEE twice or thrice a week. You still lose a lot of weight, it just takes a little longer.
If you have this "all or nothing" mindset and you don't include metabolism days in your plan then making one mistake is more likely to trigger you to give up on your plan completely and start overeating (-> actually gain weight). Because it's all or nothing, right? If you include metabolism days tho, you can simply tell yourself "it's okay, I'm just going to use this day as a good metabolism day, nothing bad happened. Gonna go back to restricting tomorrow". Mistakes become a part of your plan that doesn't have to ruin anything.
Can be a psychological trick that helps you stick to your diet. Basically, if you know that you can have something soon (like tomorrow) then it's easier for you to resist your craving right now. "I just need to wait a little, it's okay, I'm really going to have it soon!!" gives you a higher chance of calming yourself down than saying "No, I just can't have it. Not today, not this week, NOT THIS MONTH" lmao. It's just easier for people to wait for something knowing that it's coming soon than to give it up completely.
You have this comfort of not having to give up on your friends or family completely, because you can go out with them sometimes and make those days your metabolism days.
Of course you get the chance to nourish your body better and have more energy (sometimes it's very needed, right?)
I'm pretty sure there's more to it, but it's just what I could think of right now (:

Helloooo! U seem very knowledgeable so I’m asking u🥰. So I did a 97 hr fast, and lost 4 pounds. I ate about 1000-1300 calories (😭😭) because I went out w friends and my friend ordered my food and paid for and I ate it all. IK my weight tmr will fluctuate because of water weight and all that. But do you think I’ll gain all the weight back after this binge? Or what Ill weigh tmr is just water weight and fluctuations?
Thank yuuuy😭🥰
Hii, thank you T-T ♥ I'm trying to learn as much as I can lol
Ofc I can't tell how much you're going to weight tomorrow since it depends on so many things (like how much sodium and carbs you had, your bowel movement, sleep, hormonal changes etc.) but it's not going to be fat. It's just physically impossible in this case, because in order to gain 4 pounds of fat you'd have to eat your TDEE + around 14 000 calories extra in one day.
A few pounds weight shift in a day is normal for most people so you can see this kind of change tomorrow but this doesn't mean you gained fat (unless you had enough calories for this to happen!)

hey dear! i need ur advice. ❤️🩹 my current weight is 82 kg (i know its horrible, i gained it on my antidepressants), height is 173 cm. my bmi is 28.
i usually eat 300-600 cal a day and then burn 500-1000 a day by running. i also exercise 10-20 mins a day. do u think i will be able to lose 15 kg in a month like this? or should i straight up fast?
also last couple of days my weight seems to be stuck on one point… idk how to get past that. i tried to burn more calories and eat less but today i woke up and it didnt help. i feel so bad,,,,,,
Hii, thank you for your message ♥ I'm so sorry to hear this. How are you doing now? Also sorry if I sound weird sometimes lol but english isn't my first language. I hope you're going to understand me anyway!
~
Based on the info you provided, you will lose between 10 and 15kg if you go like this for a month straight.
If it was fat loss only then it'd be around -10kg, but weight loss is never just fat loss. You lose muscle mass too and depending on how much of it you lose, the number of total weight lost is going to be higher accordingly (bc our bodies basically need to "burn" more muscle mass than fat for the same amount of energy).
Getting enough protein and working out was proven to minimize the loss of muscle mass when losing weight!
Now, fasting for a month straight would mean like -2kg extra (again, this number is most likely to be higher depending on how much muscle mass you lose in the process).
~
I understand that you want to lose weight asap, we all do. I don't know you personally, maybe you can go like this for a month straight. For most of us tho this is not achievable and will turn into binge eating pretty damn soon.
That's why I don't feel like recommending this approach to anyone really, no matter how hard their "this time is going to be different!!" mentality is lol. If you want to lose weight in a fast but relatively stable way, you can try to include like 2 days a week "off diet" when you eat like a normal human being (2-3k calories a day) and restrict/fast for the rest of the week. Yes, it's hard for us mentally, yes, it's going to make your weight loss a bit slower (like you'd lose ~8kg instead of ~10 for example), but a routine like this seems to be way more achievable for long periods of time. Btw. that's also what helped me to limit my binges and finally lose the weight I desperately wanted to lose. Way more effective than having uncontrollable periods of overeating, so I can recommend this approach.
~
If your weight seems to be stuck on one point, you can also try to eat 2-3k calories for a day or two. I know it's kinda counterintuitive, but actually helped me and many people that I know. Some even said that their weight surprisingly went down after a binge day, lol.
~
Whatever you do, please be patient. You need time to make big changes (unless you chop off your leg to lose weight or something lol) like everyone else. Take care! ♥

Do you have any ideas on how to lose 15kg / 33Ibs in a month?
Yes, but I don't know your current situation (like your TDEE, lifestyle, mental state, do you struggle with binges etc.) so I don't know exactly what I can help you with luv :( 15kg in a month sounds like much tho. Are you sure your goal is realistic? Like yk, if you're obese then you can easily lose even more than this in a month since your TDEE is quite high so you have many calories to cut from and burn, but if you're at healthy BMI for example then your TDEE isn't that high and this -15kg goal might simply be unrealistic for you. So please check your TDEE first. How many calories you can cut from this and/or burn additionally? -> How much weight you can actually lose since there are like 7-8k calories in 1kg of fat? Math, ik, but it will help you set kinda achievable goals for yourself c: Then again - what do you struggle with specifically? Like sticking to calorie deficit, exercising or maybe emotional eating? If you specify this then I'll make sure to give you my best ideas ♥
