What intersection of a Hunt and a Desolation would look like in your opinion?

Some people say the Desolation is random destruction - that’s not necessarily true. It is loss and ruin, and it can be very purposeful. Targeted. Someone who decides, for whatever reason, that you can never be allowed anything good. Who destroys everything you work for, follows you wherever you try to rebuild your life and tears it all down again, a pursuer you can’t shake but doesn’t want to kill you, only to ruin you over and over and over again.

It can actually only be called "misleading" if it was the author's deliberate intention to mislead the audience. If the author had no intention to lead you to the wrong conclusion, and you simply arrived at one all by yourself, it's just sparkling Your Lack Of Reading Comprehension.

Got jumpscared because I tried a demo of a cute game where you build a school and my very first student had the full legal name and general appearance of one of my real life students.

This has never repeated itself in-game, all the other NPCs are totally normal and this kid has a moderately common first and last name but for a couple beats I thought a cute simulation game had breached data I didn’t even know I had.
