Thank you for the considerate ask! There's not really a hard limit I can think of right now. And, since I'm an adult, anything more risqué should be fine as well.

Mainly, I just look at things on a case-by-case basis. It really depends on my mood tbh

do you have any hcs on Ignacio and his relationship with vega?

I try not to claim anything before we see any confirmation. But, knowing that Vega isn't fond of children, I doubt Ignacio is a son of his. Ignacio and the unnamed butler look very similar, though, so maybe they're siblings Vega decided to train, since the rest of Shadaloo so far seems to have a mentor-pupil thing going on.

I could see if he had decided to take in the older sibling first due to their beauty and then begrudgingly took in Ignacio too. Ignacio has something wrong with his face, so Vega probably makes him wear a mask.

Clinging to youth would be my answer. In SF4, he becomes interested in the Shadaloo technology that allowed for Bison to create new bodies. Having acquired a copy of the data at the end of his arcade ladder, it’s safe to assume Vega has figured out a way to stay eternally young. His win quote against Gen also shows that Vega finds aging to be among the things he finds lacking in dignity.

Vega starting a relationship with a shy introverted s/o:

Perhaps the two of them first met when he was on a mission. He scouted the area for his target. Bustling, busy. Among a sea of chatter, he saw someone quite eye-catching, striking despite them seated alone on a bench, on their own instead of in the current of the crowd. He usually hated the city, but, there were some rare flowers that grew there.

Catching their attention was not difficult. He was sure most were unused to having someone as beautiful as himself walk up to them and strike a conversation. Vega is no people person, but he was raised with manners and charisma.

The struggle, to Vega, came with maintaining their attention. He didn’t expect such short and stilted answers coming from the object of his curiosity. Were they perhaps just speechless..? After all, they couldn’t possibly be disinterested. Right?

He was not going to just let you escape. The rose he intended to be his calling card for his next kill was instead brandished to this beautiful stranger. After carrying out his mission, he sought their whereabouts. Vega is no stranger to more unscrupulous actions and probably would go as far as try to find their information through shady means.

This actually was more of a boon than anything. He came to learn that they weren’t exactly the most social or forthcoming, and learning about them through more traditional means was probably going to be very difficult.

When he was ready, he decided to contact them. A text message. An opening line. He really wanted to get to know them… despite knowing much about them already. It was actually to his pleasant surprise that they agreed to meet up again. It’s not that Vega’s confidence could ever falter a bit in the case he got turned down… could it?

Considering the shy little flower’s introversion, Vega decided a little date to a small cafe during the slow hours would be best. He suggested for them to bring along a book they enjoyed and he would do the same. This was out of grace for the other… so that they’d have an excuse to hide behind something if they got too flustered. Which was adorable.

Vega started to feel like getting to know them the natural way was more interesting than all but stalking them earlier. After months of chatting, texting, and little dates, Vega watched his little flower open up.

When they finally were in bloom, Vega decided to ask them out. A large bouquet of roses and quite the unexpectedly heartfelt confession was hopefully enough to charm them. It was to his relief that they accepted.

With the abundance of space and privacy at his mansion, he preferred to take them there to stay the night. There, his flower would have all the comfort in the world.

Balrog was the youngest of his family in the slums and got into fights day in and day out.

Vega was raised on hunting, bullfighting, and ninjutsu, then his mother was killed by his father.

Sagat got into fights as a child which lost him most of his sight in his right eye.

F.A.N.G was kidnapped by a cartel and exposed to poisons to be trained as an assassin.

Will we actually learn more about Bison's past in SF6? Probably not.

According to World Tour, Cammy was planted in M16 by Bison until her brainwashing wore away, all but deconfirming that Vega saved her from the Shadaloo base and delivered her there.

I wonder if they thought it would give Cammy more agency if she wasn’t saved by Vega, but at the same time it’s just really underwhelming, not just for Vega fans, but also for fans of Delta Red as a found family finding this mysterious girl at their doorstep and taking her in.

Plus, she originally had a whole storyline of overcoming her brainwashing by encountering Dhalsim and others before eventually confronting Bison and destroying the Psycho Drive and freeing the Dolls! Instead she really just… forgot one day?
