Last movie I watched: Black Panther I think? Okoye was my favourite character in that film, she’s so strong,beautiful, and inspiring I love her

Top Three TV Shows: Honestly I’ve been binge watching a bunch of Invader Zim recently which is why I’ve been so inactive, I used to be a fan back in 2013 but I thought I would re-watch the series again with a friend for the nostalgia, and now I’m hooked again so oops, another thing I’ve been watching isn’t exactly a TV show, but I recently started watching film analyses on horror movies (like the composition and how they set atmospheres and environments) and conspiracy theories which I find super interesting! Top 3 Bands: Probably Cavetown, I listen to him the most, although I like a  range of things from Ed Sheeran, Mumford and Sons, to musicals like Heathers or Be More Chill, to Owl City, to rock bands like MCR and Linkin Park to people like Mike Geier 

Books I’m reading: The latest book I’m reading is Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets! I’m not tagging anyone because I don’t really like tagging so this is more do it if you want to!

@butchrandy rekindled my love for Ranlay, you would think after 2 years I would move on from this ship but nope, have some headcanons:

Randall after the events has an extreme fear of being manipulated again, it takes him a while to warm up to Hersh again, but when he does, he trusts Hersh with almost anything 

Hersh and Randall lowkey dated in university, Angela was in on it and outwardly portrayed as Randall’s girlfriend since Randall knew how much of a physically affectionate and emotional person he was and being around Hersh, he didn’t want to be perceived as gay out of fear, and still in the closet

Randall and Angela would have sleep overs and every time Randall goes on a 8 hour rant to Angela how much he loves Hersh   

Randall is more physically affectionate, while Hersh is more emotionally affectionate, however they both love the other’s display of affection and will switch depending on situation

Randall learnt that Henry and Angela blamed Hersh for his death and Randall immediately visited Hersh at 3am and dived into his arms as soon as Hersh opened the door, apologising

Hersh confessed to Randall that his lifestyle was based around him, Randall’s immediate response was Randall confessing that he loved Hersh 

Randall stays with Flora while Hersh and Luke go on adventures (bonus: they go on adventures themselves)   

Randall will literally appear at the university randomly just to see Hersh while he’s on his break

“Hersh, I think I have a crush on you” “We’ve been married for 2 years, Randall”

Hersh frequently catches Randall staring at him, looking extremely love struck

Writing Prompt Ask

Basorexia - An overwhelming desire to kiss. Thank you @detective-kat for your ask!  (This is pre-Akbadain Ruins) Randall sat there in class. Normally he would pay attention to the teacher and be willing to participate with every fibre of his being, but today was different, although he stared blankly at the chalkboard in front of him, it was actually the young man who sat behind him that had his attention, for Randall had became quite enamoured of him. The young man being Hershel Layton, Randall’s best friend, however, over the past few weeks, he has been on the red-headed’s mind a lot; the way his hair was always a mess, his composure, his laugh... Randall would always shake his head slightly to disperse his collecting thoughts as quickly as possible. And then, it happened.  The sudden thought of Hershel’s lips pressed against his. The idea of how warm his lips would be or how soft they would feel. A bright pink came to his cheeks, as he sat there in a mixture of disbelief and sudden desire, wrapped up completely in his own thoughts and daydream, how would his family react? How would Angela and Henry react if they knew of these thoughts? Randall knew that he should concentrate on class but the thought of kissing his best friend... Was irresistible. Eventually, he decided to focus on his surroundings, and noticed class was over, he had no idea what time it was or when class had ended, the blood in his cheeks was too vibrant to hide anyway so he sighed a little in relief that no one would see him like this. Just as he was about to get up from his desk, there was a tap on his shoulder. Randall turned to see him, concern was painted on Hershel’s face, he had been watching Randall all lesson, he wasn’t his usual hyperactive self. Randall stared at Hershel, blushing brighter than he thought was possible. “Surely, it’s okay to kiss a friend, right? There were two girls in class that kiss occasionally in the hallway. It’s a friendly thing. That’s what friends do...Right?” Randall started to ponder over his thoughts again, not realising that Hershel was talking to him. “Randall!” Hershel finally called to get his attention once more. Randall couldn’t collect his thoughts, he only stared at Hershel, his mouth and throat too dry to make a response, why was he so nervous? He knew Hershel for years, it’s not like a kiss would change anything, would it? Randall started to shuffle a little, thinking; “it wouldn’t change anything, a kiss is just a kiss.” The butterflies and anxiousness in his stomach was becoming too much, this urge and need to kiss Hershel, it was demanding. He had to do something. Before either could comprehend, Randall’s body moved on its own, he pushed his body forward and grabbed the other young man, pressing his lips against his, catching the young gentleman completely off guard.

 Ayurnamat - The philosophy that there is no point in worrying about events that cannot be changed. Sphallolalia - Flirtatious talk that leads no where. Baisemain - A kiss on the hand. Druxy - Something which looks good on the outside, but is actually rotten inside. Mamihlapinatapei - The look between two people in which each loves the other but is too afraid to make the first move.
