SELFEEL ACTIVITY!
These are my feelings when---I am HAPPY/JOY, SAD, FEAR, ANGRY, DISGUSTED, ANTICIPATED and SURPRISED respectively. I am an emotional person, I will not deny that. My mood changes so fast. But every time my mood change or my feelings, I will see to it that I will realize or learn something. I am also considerate everytime I am angry or disgusted to someone. I may show that kind of emotion but I will think sensitively that there may be a reason why he/she did that to me or I am the problem. Also, the butterflies in the stomach I feel everytime I am happy, surprise and anticipated. It made me feel like I am loved and special. Turning my emotion into a sad and frightened girl is my number one enemy. I tend to overthink a lot. But at the end of the day, I always seek guidance to the Lord and make me understand why I all feel these emotions.

POWERS OF MY MIND: HOW MY BRAIN WORKS
As you can see, in the first brain dominance test, my right and left brain hemisphere are balanced and equally balanced. In the second picture, I am right-brained. Even me can’t understand myself sometimes so that’s why, I think. I do what I feel I need to do. That’s it.

HOW TO COPE WITH STRESS PART 4 (PAMPERING MYSELF)
These are my ways in pampering myself---Going to a salon for a haircut every four months (David Salon is my favorite salon because they knew well what kind of hairstyle I do like) I don’t want a long hair ever since. I am just confident with my hair being short and I’m comfortable with it. Second, getting a pedicure every 3-4 weeks. Also, one way I pampered myself is that watching series and kdrama with foods on the side. All those things, I feel comfortable and it is therapeutic. I can’t feel that I am stressed, pressured or whatever.

HOW TO COPE WITH STRESS PART 3 (ENJOYING MY LIFE IN BEACH)
I am a certified beach lover ever since. Even though, I am not really good in swimming, I still find it very comforting and relaxing. I always forgot my problems whenever I am in the beach. Sometimes, it is my escape. Sometimes, I go to beach to cry and vent out all my problems and it makes me very happy and relieved afterwards. Also, I love watching those beautiful fishes under the sea and feed them---I am a scuba diver. And I think, that is one factor why I love sea.

HOW I COPE WITH STRESS PART 2 (PLAYING WITH DOGS)
Way back elementary and junior high school, I really hate dogs. I am also afraid with them. We have so many dogs in our house but I don’t have the guts to stay near to them. As time goes by, I don’t know what happened to me but I found myself enjoying being with them. They are now my stress reliever. Sometimes, if I’m having my breakdown in the middle of the night, they are all with me in my room, we sleep together and I feel like they are my angels.

MY OWN PERSONAL WAYS TO BECOME CAPABLE AND RESPONSIBLE ADOLESCENT
1. Building a strong relationship with my parents - I am on the process on which I am doing my best to get closer with my parents and do my part as a daughter because I realized, at the end of the day, it is them who are there to help me in everything I do, it is them whom I can share my problems, seeks advices and comfort me whenever I need one.
2. Cares for my health and hygiene - I am a teenager and most of my friends drinks alcohol and smokes but I always make sure that I will not engage myself into it because I know it is really bad for the health. In hygiene, I always take a bath, brush my teeth and avoid being dirty and be presentable as much as possible. I also make sure that my room is organized and clean.
3. Managing my time wisely in everything I do - I am a student, a daughter and a volunteer in our community. Before doing something, I already have my schedule and it needs to be balance. I have time where I can focus in my school works, I also do my task in doing household chores and I can do my work as a volunteer if I am done with everything to avoid conflicts.

A LETTER DEDICATED TO MY CO-YOUTH LEADERS IN SARANGANI!
I’ve been into different organizations inside and outside the school since I was in junior high specifically starting when I was in 7th grade and I already met many young leaders who have the passion to serve the people.
This quarantine, I am so grateful that I was chosen to be part of this three big organization namely the Zero Hunger Alabel, a localized initiative from Zero Hunger PH which is a youth-led movement sparked by the recent work suspension under the enhanced community quarantine and this project aims to provide food bags for marginalized families in our municipality through crowd funding and donations, we started last April.
The second one is the Radyo para sa Baryo, a youth-led fundraising campaign in support to DepEd’s Radyo Eskwela Program and it aims to assist public school students from the barrios of Sarangani Province by providing radio units in their distance learning pursuits and it is still ongoing until now. The third one that I am currently working is the Project Verified from the Kaya Natin - Academy for Young Leaders aims to address disinformation while integrating the established values of the local community.
Why am I telling these things? Because my co-members in that three organizations are the same! Yes! We are working these three big projects in municipal level, provincial level and in the whole Philippines.
To Rhoda May Ebad, our project head in ZHA and RPSB, French Bandong, our project head in Project Verified, to my co-youth leaders Rey Mark Paran, John Mark Polistico, Trisha Ormita, Frank Montebon, Jamela Bautista, Twinkle Cabrera, Xana Apolinar, Vinz Betonio, Paul Arzaga, Allan Pareja, a big thank you to all of you! I admire you all a lot because of your passion and leadership in serving the people especially the Sarangan youth. You guys are my inspirations why I am giving my best in doing my task. Thank you for this once in a lifetime opportunity. Thank you for trusting me and cheering each others back every time we are down. The memories and moments that we shared were unforgettable! You guys are the best! Looking forward for more projects soon! Keep safe and take care of your health always!
Love,
Mary Nicole Ramos

MY MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT EVER!
It was a rainy Saturday evening that time. I attended a simple debut celebration at my classmate’s house. I am one of the 18 candles and to tell you honestly, I did not experienced being listed in 18 candles in my whole life because I am always in 18 treasures or shots. I am so nervous that time because I don’t know what to do because I am the first one who will give a message. I am so worried because of my what ifs. “So, this is it! I’m going to speak now. I got this!”, I said to myself that time. I walk to the mini stage confidently and I gave my wonderful message to the debutant. “Oh no! What am I going to do now? This candle?”, I asked to myself. I am so nervous and hesitant to the point I blew the candle! They laughed. All of them. “Why? What’s wrong?.” Until the host says “Oh! So she already made her wish and blew the candle for you, (the name of the debutant).” And that was the time, I realized that the birthday girl will blow the candle! It’s so awkward. I think I’m going to die and can’t sleep peacefully at night. As I sat down in my chair, they are all still laughing. Ugh! I should have asked the host first or my friends on what am I going to do. Now, I still burst at laugh every time I remembered that. For me, it was the most embarrassing moment in my life.
