I’ve been drowning in Miya Atsumu hell since last night so here are some (aged up) headcanons

I mean for some reason, popular fanon opinion was that he’s some kind of a cool jock but I think not so. I mean look at him! He’s a dork.

He cringes remembering how he snarked at the cheering squad back in highschool. He wanted to look cool and thought that was the cool thing to do — he was young and learned to value people more as he got older. But sometimes, during the night, those memories re-surface and he screams internally as he tries not to die from belated embarrassment.

Unfortunately, those “internal” screams escape and he gets a pillow smacked on his face by Osamu from the top of their double deck. See, he’s not pleased with his drama queen of a brother.

He will never admit that he actually gets nervous that’s why his serves tend to be inconsistent. Nope, nervousness is not a word in Miya Atsumu’s dictionary. Wah wah wah he can’t hear you.

He’s the type of guy who will have a shoujo moment when he sees the girl he likes. He’ll be a mess and get easily depressed when the girl he likes doesn’t laugh at his jokes.

Speaking of shoujo moment, he’s got an arsenal of “shoujo manga hero-ish” poses and one-liners that he’ll scream to the world as he declares his love to you. Be prepared. Be very prepared.

Except that he didn’t realize that his lines were more “second lead-ish” lol

But he’s definitely the hopeless romantic type. He’ll even propose to you in a mascot gear because one time you mentioned that you found mascots cute. And he thinks it was the best idea ever.

He’s got this stare you down face when he’s just worried about you and he never wants you regretting your actions and decisions. Funny because he looks worse than Osamu when he’s the one staring down at Atsumu.

When it comes down to it, he’s the type who likes bragging about your relationship

Bonus point: he’s great a greeting your parents.

That moment when we learned that iwaizumi was studying sports medicine and we all were like “HE’s TaKINg Care oF OikAwA!!!” and then the last chapter came and we are just like “oh…hes training pokemon to beat oikawas ass…that sounds more like him” *i am a clown meme*
