#it always kills me how much clint cares  #it doesn’t matter what happens to him  #as long as others are saved  #and that’s what makes clint a hero  #the selflessness  #he doesn’t care that he’s in the hospital  #he cares that barnes was recovered  #and that’s all that matters  #it’s both selfless and saddening  #that clint has little self-worth  #but that’s what natasha’s there for (via torii-storii)
That’s also what Kate’s there for:

Natasha and Clint find out that no one is throwing Kate a birthday party so they gather all of her friends to throw her one
Yes, please! Something big must have happened for no one to throw Kate a birthday party. Perhaps they didn’t know she was back?
Imagine Team Hawkeye going on mission after mission. Their last one before returning to HQ was particularly jarring for Kate, so much so that she went off the grid for a month after (Clint checked up on her once a week but mostly left her alone).
It was almost her birthday and none of the Young Avengers knew she was in New York, so it was up to Clint, Natasha and the rest of the Avengers to get everyone together for Kate’s surprise party. Tony constantly complained about what the Avengers have become (”Since when did we become party planners? For kids who look like they need their parents’ permission nonetheless!”), but still helped Clint have Noh-Varr un-banned from Earth for at least a day. (”That’s my good deed for the rest of the year,” Clint told Natasha.)

ok this blog is perfection! i cant believe i finally found someone who loves kate as much as i do! and you ship clintasha!!! seriously clintasha + katie kate gives me life! i guess you're probably busy with school/work/life in general but i really hope you never stop making these shuffles. and you once said Kate can count on one hand the number of reasons why Nat would call her ‘Katie’ so i was wondering what those reasons would be? sorry this was long
You’re very kind - thank you! Have you ever had a need so strong, that you spiral out of control? It’s that strong need for Clintasha + Katie Kate that started it all!
Regarding ‘Katie,’ that’s an interesting question! Unlike Clint, Natasha rarely refers to Kate as anything other than ‘Kate’ or, when in the field, ‘Hawkeye’ (she referred to Kate as ‘the better Hawkeye’ once when speaking with Iron Man over the comms, and Kate wants that memory etched into her soul).
The first time she called her ‘Katie’ was to interrupt her angry monologue. Clint had just bailed her out of trouble and the whole way back to his apartment, she had been ranting about the series of events that led to how Clint found her that morning. Clint opened the door, Kate kept ranting. Clint headed for the coffee pot, Kate kept ranting. Clint’s eyes were suddenly on his bedroom door, Kate kept ranting, until–
“Katie.”
It wasn’t just that Natasha called her Katie. It was also that she said it in a tone Kate has never heard her use before. Plus she was obviously naked saved for Clint’s old blanket she wasn’t trying too hard to keep on.
The word ‘Katie’ coming from Natasha’s lips, Kate decided, was Natasha’s cue for her to disappear. (Sometimes Kate wonders if Clint has noticed this.)

Marvel Shuffle | For Clint, going undercover in the NYPD was much easier without Wade Wilson coming to visit, pretending to have witnessed a crime. (inspired by Secret Avengers Vol 3)

The phrase “my tiny son” fits Billy Kaplan so perfectly, like:
Billy Kaplan, my tiny son, sometimes the multiverse is too harsh on you because they’re afraid of what you’re capable of
Billy Kaplan, my tiny son, the Avengers telling you that the world doesn’t want another Scarlet Witch seemed too cruel, yes
Billy Kaplan, my tiny son, Teddy, Tommy, Kate and the others will always be there for you (even if you’re Magneto’s grandson)
Billy Kaplan, my tiny son, you keep talking to Captain America the way that you do

im p sure at some point when clint wasn't looking natasha took a swig of coffee from his coffee pot and it was the most revolting sludge she's ever had and now every time he drinks from the coffee pot she side-eyes him in disgust and bewilderment.
Two things:
First, in The Unusuals, Jeremy Renner’s character, Jason Walsh, once served said revolting sludge. “That is gross,” was the exact comment he got.
Conclusion: Jason Walsh is Clint Barton.
Second, imagine Natasha sneakily steering him away from his disgusting coffee. One Christmas, all of Clint’s presents were coffee-related, e.g. coffee tasting club membership from Pepper, gourmet coffee selection packs from Kate, and even Starbucks gift cards from Steve and Bucky. Clint doesn’t question it, and Natasha’s all too pleased that everyone took her gift “suggestions” for Clint to heart. She’s also pleased that for the next few months, Clint drinks the good coffee they got him, revolting sludge seemingly forgotten.
Only seemingly, though.
Somehow, Clint manages to distribute his expensive coffee and coffee-related items to all the shelters that would take them.
Natasha watches Clint as he used his last remaining Starbucks gift card to buy coffee for a homeless man in Central Park, and it’s at that point that she realizes that while Clint’s coffee is terribly disgusting, his too-big heart is anything but.
