I’m quite happy how this turned out. Every orientation produces the idea of something different. For example, turned upside down structures look like palm trees. It’s not really in mint condition anymore because my cat walked over it with wet paws and smeared it partially, but whatevs.

A space ship/face hybrid, that exhausts petals to fly.
That’s how I see it, at least.

Also from the ‘mixing colours’ times: this little landscape. I like what happened here. This is the result of adding more and more colour and smearing the ones that were still on the paper about.

So a few weeks ago I decided to mix my colours like it was going out of style. The result is mostly grey with nouances of the original colour. But I like them smutty colours.

This is a testament how I’m still desensitized to typography. I personally think, that the information that is written is more important than how it looks. But I may have to reevalueate that sentiment as many people don’t think this way and varying typefaces do have measureable pros and cons.

Hmm... I guess I could fiddle with colour correction and what not to get a clearer image but it’s fine as it is I think. I was feeding fishes in a little lake prior to painting this (how absolutely not obvious...)

A subtle call for people to fart for art.^^
Which in itself was actually just a Brain Fart. Soo.. it went full circle, I guess?

A fish swam about the sea floor when it discovered a crack in the ground. Shenanigans with a Starfish und an Octopus ensue.

Just a fancy bug scuttling about the ground. I painted this in one sitting which is something that didn’t happen too often at that time. I think of this bug as a mixture of Ladybug and Goliath beetle

I drew this when I was laying on a meadow and people came by. I chose this motif to show people that I was indeed painting and not just frantically scribbling on a sheet of paper.

This is a friend of mine drawn as a cat because the pun about him being crapulous works in german. ‘verkatert’ = hung over ( ‘Kater’ is a male cat)
Again, my scanner doesn’t like the yellowish colours .

This is a crow not knowing what to do. In the end, it chose the fourth option; which was painting about.

A newer painting of mine. I bought meself some watercolour at the start of the year and I’m currently trying about. Also this image shows how my scanner can’t really cope with yellow as it misinterprets it as too light.

A kind of bulb inspired by the cthulhu mythos. After a new set of scans I came to the realization, that I need a new way to scan. My Old scanner doesn’t seem to scan as good as he did.
