Celebration on 12/31/2020
Just recently, I decided to craft a goal; this time a financial goal. I wrote down there that by the end of the year 2020 I will become a half-millionaire. You might be wondering now why not dream bigger Mark, why just half a million? Why not more than that? Well, it's just because my assessment says I can manage to raise half a million by that time frame,if i will raise more than that amount all praises to GOD. If I then just hit half a million it is still better (it's still half a million. Hahaha) . My point is, I got to grow financially within that amount of time that i need to work my ass to achieve this goal. This goal setting thing will surely help me grow as person in almost if not all/every aspect of life.
As to date, I still have 4 digits amount of money on my bank account. Atleast I am on my way already on saving for that goal. It will grow anytime soon. What I am doing now is thinking on how to raise that amount of money. Just so you know I am currently employed at a realty company, not earning that much but thankful already on what I am receiving every payday. I have sisters who need support on their studies and as their older brother I know that I am responsible on helping them out. I am not that selfish to think of myself only and just left them behind, that's a no no thing to me. My assessment, my monthly income from my day job is not enough to meet all my wants, not the "wants" that were described and discussed in your Economics class. When i say wants here, I mean to say my WANTS to help my sisters on their studies (by supporting them financially), giving a good and comfortable life to my family and having enough to share something to others and give back to the main Giver.
Ever since, I always wanted to have a business on my own. I remember back in my elementary, secondary and even in college days,I used to sell items to my classmates. From yema to polvoron to ice juices to junk food to writing pads to cellphone accessories, you name it I just love to sell something on my classmates. My dad used to send me allowance on a monthly basis that's why I have no problems on raising capital to fund this little businesses of mine. But it wasn't all smooth sailing all the way, sometimes, when my business venture didn't went so well, I have to cut my allowance and literally give up some expenses since I lost it already on my business and to meet both ends. To date, I am planning to finally execute my dream to put up a small business, I had my business name reserved already at the Department of Trade Industry, all i need to do now is to work out on all of its legalities because I want to make sure that by all means everything is legal. I wanted to become an ENTREPRENEUR, and I can't label myself as one if I can't own a business. So, lets do this. I believe the Lord will bless the desires of our heart as long as it will give Him greater Glory. I am taking this initiatives because I wanted to become one of His best child.
I am just sharing to you my plans. This were just part of the "to dos" that I need to work out in order for me to achieve the goal that I have mentioned above. It will not be that easy for sure, but how will I know if I will not try, right? And as long as I have Him on my side, I am confident that I will prosper. I shared it here because I wanted to make a commitment to the one who will got to read this post. I will keep you guys posted on my progress. Not to boast anything but mainly to inspire myself and embrace that ACCOUNTABILITY. We only live once, so I wanted to have a life well lived. Starting today. Join me on my Celebration on 12/31/2020. Share to me your goal and let's keep ourselves updated on our progress.

Stay strong and Faithful
Just recently the central area of our country-Philippines, gone to a heart-breaking calamity after the super typhoon Yolanda with international name “Haiyan” hit us. The storm did a lot of destruction on some part of Visayas and in Mindanao. I just can’t help but to cry out in pain as I saw the footage in the news on the past 3 nights. Hearing the cry of the victims and of the people who lost their treasures- materially and the most important treasure in our life, our loved family and friends really bothers me. I heard that around 10,000 lives were lost. And it is no more a joke. With that number, it is already alarming. I cannot judge the government for their lapses for prevention because I believe that the PAG-ASA did their best to inform the public about how strong the coming storm is days before the estimated landfall of the typhoon Yolanda. I believe that the storm is just so strong that even the people in the evacuation center lost their lives as they were hit by the strong winds and storm surge. Up to now, the communication in the affected areas is still unreachable that is why it is hard to communicate with them. I have an officemate whose parents and siblings were living in Samar and he is very much worried about the condition of his family back there and all he can do is to pray for their safety as he still can’t communicate them up to this very moment. Sunday night, I was watching the news with my mom and my siblings, we really felt the pain and sorrows of our kababayan (countrymen).
Then that night my mom told us, “See, we really can’t predict when our time will be over here on earth, even how cautious and careful are we, if our time really come we have no choice but to follow God’s will. What we need to do is to stay Strong and Faithful to the will of our Lord, to continuously pray for protection and guidance to Him. I don’t mean to be so preachy here but I think my mom got some point there. And that we really need to be strong and fight our individual bout between ourselves and to others in order to live a more meaningful life. There are just things that were out of our control like the super typhoon that we just experience. My prayers were dedicated to all my kababayan who is going through a tough time right now. May you still find the courage and hope to continue the fight and remain faithful to the will of the Lord. He will not forsake us all; no matter how hard we are going through a new sun will rise to all of us.
This just happened to test how strong we are and how faithful we can be. I know it’s not easy to loss someone you loved and as tragic as the one you had but I pray to the Lord to bless you with an understanding heart to accept everything that happened. Let us all be united and rise as a nation. And to all the family who lost their loved ones, accept my sincere condolence. And to all who got to read over this message, I encourage you to help in whatever means you know. There are a lot of foundations who accept pledges and donations. Below are the link of some foundations I know who have kind hearts to serve and be a bridge to help a lot of Filipino victims. Have a great day ahead and please pray also for the survivors and the souls of the unfortunate victims.

Draw some inspiration.
Waking up every morning is quite a challenge for everyone, we all have the same experiences of wanting to spend more time in bed and too lazy to get up because we know for sure that it will be again another day loaded with works and responsibilities. But life shouldn't be like that, we have to get up and be inspired to go on with life and be as productive as anyone else there. Your life is a message like what Ghandi have said, so if you live a life that is without excitement then you are creating the same message to other people. Today, look ahead and view this day as another opportunity to learn in life, meet new friends, experience pain yet learning to get up and move on. As the sun starts to rise this morning, we should be rising also towards achieving our dreams instead of staying in bed and continue dreaming. I just remember a quote that I read back then that says, "The warmer your bed is, the colder your future will be." and I bet so that you don't want that to happen. So now, everything is up to you. Let us all be productive today in all our walks, fuel up and get excited to go out and live a life well lived.
Good morning.
