Its funny how we measure a "good year". I would say my year wasn't overall good, but I met my now closest friend, turned 20 a milestone age, changed my major to something I'm much happier in, finished my first year in college. I also found a community of people I adore (the furry community). I also stopped most of my bad habits.

On the other hand I spent most of the year stressed about how I'm going to make it to the next week. I'm in an economy where I can barely make rent and don't have a car to live somewhere else where it would be easier to. It's another year I haven't learned to drive. I failed all my classes in one semester due to burnout. I stepped down from positions of responsibility for the previous reason.

But something I've noticed while writing this is that most of what made my year "bad" isn't specific to this year. I haven't known how to drive for 20 years... that doesn't make the entire year bad. Failing my classes was only for 3 months of the year. So it truly is hard to say for sure how my year was.

hey honest question, did anybody have GOOD stuff happen to them in 2024? cause it was really bad for me and for most people i know, so it would be nice to hear about anything that's been going WELL for any of you. even if it's small stuff. just to know there's light out there.

and i'm already in love with Gabriel. Like, I JUST got on tumblr and followed the ultrakill tags because I plan to play soon. Then b o o m Gabriel is hot and being shipped with V1 and I'm falling for it.
