i saw queen of the ring...

i can say, confidentially, that this movie made me fu*kin PROUD to be a woman!!! this movie was amazing, powerful, beautiful, emotional, and historical. the only flaw that i have is that this movie wasn't in many theatres and, if it was, it wasn't for long.

i got back into wrestling around 2023 and, after seeing this movie, it still shocks me that this history...this legendary woman...is little to not known or heard as much.

i will say, before i saw the movie, i looked up a general background on mildred burke and she was a HUGE inspiration to the women that we know, such as chyna, paved the way for the dominant women wrestlers, from wwe to aew, that we know and love, and even shared the ring with mae young.

without spoiling, i give my utmost respect to all the actresses, from emily bett rickards to a recently favorite wrestler of mine, toni storm, for playing the women who were a part of this history❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

happy birthday to the superstar and absolute powerhouse that got me back into wrestling, rhea ripley🖤🖤🖤🖤 i never thought that i would watch wwe again after 2020, but seeing her being the BADASS that she is has been the greatest thing ever!!! such an awesome and gorgeous woman💪💪

as a side note, i don't think i've ever been happier than seeing her entrance at wrestlemania 40. i've become a fan of motionless in white and seeing them singing her theme made me fangirl so hard😅😅

i agree with this 100%!!!! not joking, i CRIED when i listened to 'ocean of strange islands' yesterday. it still doesn't feel real to me that yesterwynde will be here NEXT FRIDAY!!!!😭😭😭😭😭

ocean of strange islands is so good😭💖 i literally dont know what to expect now with every other song in the album cause the singles have all been so wildly different and i love that!! i want every single song on the album to be in a different style. i want the vibes to be incredibly specific and the music style to be incredibly undefined for every song. if its like that i will be soooo happy honestly like i love nightwish for its incredible range of not just genre but mood and subject matter and how it spans the whole spectrum of human emotions. this song has made me so excited for the album!!
