I have a new fic scheduled to post today and honestly with all of the stolen work lately especially this app that is profiting off myself and others it’s really making me not want to post.

What’s the point? So I can get a few reblogs here but someone else can translate and repost it without my knowledge or permission. Or for some app to automatically steal it from my ao3 and profit off of the time and hard work and love I put into it?

Everyone complains about fics and authors, that they don’t post enough, that you want more, that we should stop complaining about the lack of notes we get. Well we are pissed!

There has been a huge decline in the support we receive. There have been less comments, less reblogs, but when it comes to speaking your mind hate is apparently the only thing anons have no problem doing.

It’s wrong. It’s discouraging and you wonder why people are leaving. We produce fanfic for free. FREE. It’s not my job or anyone else’s and yet we’re treated like work horses that should put real life on hold to give someone an update all for them to press the like button that means nothing to us. That’s not support. Hate is not support. Stealing our work and profiting off us is not support.

Everyday as more things like this happen authors and content creators are being pushed to quit. What’s the solution? Well if you’re a reader you should reblog, comment and appreciate what is shared with you. If you see stolen/reposted work report it. Tell the author and report it yourself! We can’t fight this alone. To know we have your support is the difference that keeps us going.

Historically no, but that’s what weed and Hadestown are for. Stimulating the old serotonin and curbing ideations. I’ve always made it a goal to be transparent but certain parties have previously misconstrued my candor for having a bad attitude.

Having a dark sense of humor about your business doesn’t mean you have an inherently bad attitude. They put it up on their blog and I was super busy anyways, so I did what my bpd addled ass does best and I gave the hater what she wanted. I split.

1.) so i was in dbt for a year (dialectical behavioral therapy) and the program has group and individual on a biweekly basis. there’s an introductory sequence where they start every group with a mindfulness check in before homework is reviewed. you go around and talk about how you applied the skills learned during the previous week.

then if you miss or are unable to do the homework, they shame you as a way of getting others to follow through (that and they fuck with the billing if you’re a no show). i only ever missed the one group session during my time in the program—when i was on a return flight from helping my mom with my grandma’s funeral. when they tried to pull the shaming shit on me, i was sure to lay the awkward thick that night😂😂

2.) i’m only four years younger than my father’s wife, who i refuse to meet. she and my older sister (who share the same name) can even be found in the same yearbook for the 05/06 window. it’s a super gross, antisemetic mess.

3.) i’m learning hebrew for b’nei mitzvah classes and romanian because i’m a MASSIVE HOE

4.) i’ve been on this hellsite ten years, tomorrow.

5.) i published a zine this year!! i had a photo shoot where i dressed up as a few of my favorite jewish heroines, past and present. it was an absolute blast to put together, let me know if you want a digital copy!

Growing up in an abusive household is a fucking trip dude……If you’ve never had someone angrily wash a dish at you or fold a sock in your direction then how are you gonna understand why I get nervous when you quietly do the laundry, or why I ask “are you mad at me?” when you set the bag of groceries down too hard?
