Long time no see! Life. kids, workouts, covid...y’a know it ;-)
Here is my favorite salad recipe : easy, quick and yummy !     Orzo Salad
1 pack of Orzo, cooked according to directions and cool. 1 Can of Black beans, rinced  1 Can of Yellow corn, rinced 1 Red Bell Pepper, diced 1 Yellow Bell Pepper, diced 2 Avocados, diced Handful of cherry tomatoes, cut in halves Dressing 3 TbS Avocado Oil 2 TbS Balsamic vinegar 1 TbS Basilic Pesto

Chilly morning ❄ Scarf and boots were mandatory at 7am. I love when Fall 🍁makes an sudden appearance. You wake up and feel right away you can put your 👡 away for awhile. Or may be just for the day or the week. We may pass 🎄in 🏄👙, who knows? South Georgia weather is great. I don't miss 🇨🇦 for this only reason. So today is going to be autumnal preps : duvets & sleepers are out, tea to stay warm and soup in the Crock-Pot. Who else loves Fall?

Relaxing time. Upper body workout today, I can tell you that I struggled big time. No energy whatsoever 😓😓 Anyway, I ended up on the couch where I put the final touch to my schedule for tomorrow and took some times for a little bit of personal development. I can now enjoy the rest of the day, peacefully as Colin's left for his Taekwondo class, Patrick is gone running and Mia is playing outside. It is always nice to have some relaxing "me" time. I love my kids, I love my hubby but as my friend Alex is used to say, "it feels so good to listen to the silence" 😂😂!!

Life can suck and shit happens. You're sad, mad, anxious, depressed...After a while, you think about it differently : you leave the negativity behind and you try to find some positive vibes. If you dig enough, you finally realize it was just the way you looked at the situation. It was just you being biased by your feelings. You may end up laughing at yourself for being such a diva. Yep. It happened to me. Today. And as I sit in my car right now, waiting for picking my son up from school, I am feeling relaxed and at peace. A sweaty Zen diva though. Thanks to CrossFit. Being healthy is the best gift you can offer to your loved ones. I mean, is there any other better thing in life than being present, active and alive for your kids, your spouse, you fur babies?? For sure it is always fun to watch TV, sharing ice-cream, baking cakes together, but for me, my best moment with my loves is when we laugh, we play and we run together. I just went on a 3 miles run with my girl riding her bike. It was the best moment of my day. She pushed me further, I congratulated her for being so careful with cars. It was a full shared pleasure. We laughed because I struggled to catch her. We made it on time to prepare dinner and finishing homeworks. We are all set to spend the evening relaxed and accomplished. #familytfirst #bestmomentever

It's been a while since I posted. And here is my face today : to-go-or-not-to-go kind of face. I am in my car, making excuses, finding hundred reasons to not go. It will only take a warm-up to get my mind into it but right now the struggles are real. I am tired, I am cold, I want my pillow and my bed. I came home to this little guy already asleep. I look at him and I would love to know what he's dreaming at. I try every day to be a good mom for my kids. I want them to go to bed at peace and happy. I make mistakes, I yell too much, I am always on the go, I am always moody until I've done my workout, I am annoying with those healthy treats, I make them groan when it's time to brush their teeth or set the table...I am truly a mom. I love them to death. And seeing Colin sleeping that way, like he was remodeling the world his way, makes me feel that I may be doing the right thing. Sometimes. #momslife #noregrets #lovemykids

March 2017 : Here I come! I am so excited by this new month coming. My hybrid calendar is ready, I had to modify it a bit since my schedule is getting busy. Don't get me wrong, being able to help and coach people is a real pleasure and honor. I love being busy 👌💪. As I am prepping for the Gulfstream 5k in April, I had to let go at least 3 days off the Chisel calendar but I still lift 4 days a week, CrossFit class included. Yeah!! I am so pumped right now, I'm not sure to be able to wait until Monday to get started. Actually, I must wait. I am off for 2 more days since I felt a muscle tear in my right calf last Wednesday during a run. Being grounded might be the reason I am so hop hop hop right now! #worsesickgirlever #dontletmeapproachthegym #hidemysneakers

NSV - Non scale victory. I am back at running. My first 3 miles and + in a long while. Actually since the R&R half marathon in November. I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis and I swore that I would not go back to running ✋✋. But I guess my so beloved pushy husband finally got me back to it 😆. And it feels amazing. I am not fast but I am steady. A 8'45 pace for a come back is not that bad. And those pants fit me better than 3 months ago 🙊 #happydance

My favorite team (minus 2 awesome ladies)!! Weight lifting sesh in my "gym" with my girls. It is always fun to see people falling in love with fitness, embracing their journey with happiness, and being so consistent. I love being their coach because they show up every other day willing to push hard even though I am not so easy on them.

They are just awesome. I have been coaching friends for few weeks now and since I like helping people, I do it for free. First because I like supporting people in their journey, and second because they are all worth it. Their motivation, happiness and willingness to push hard and to show up 3 days a week even though they could stay at home and watch TV are the best gift they could give me. But they think a bit differently : this week, they gave me this Garmin watch to thank me. I was emotional (but I didn't show it...Almost). I REALLY do it because I think fitness and healthy life are both the best gift you can offer to someone. I like to think that being the best example I can be for women, mom's, expats around me is my "job". I am made to support and motivate people. They are made to be happy and healthy. W7D4. The landmine workout. I felt the need of a little change today : I traded my dumbbells for an Olympic barbell (45lbs) and added a 25 lbs plate for some of the exercises. This HIIT workout, presented in an old Oxygen magazine edition (Jan2016), made me sweat, swear and roar. W7D1. Routine. Some would say it's discipline, some would say it's crazy, some would say it's boring. I say it's my way. I have never been a creature of habits. I would go on the fly because my life was so messy that I couldn't see the point to have a daily routine. Only because I thought I wouldn't be able to follow a plan. And then, I added on thing after another : Eating healthy, working-out, writing in a journal, playing with the kids, doing personal development etc. Today my days are full because they are structured. Not a strict and boring plan, but I know what I have to do and I just do it. No more wasted time, no more overwhelmed feelings. I am energized. I am happy. I feel that I have accomplished something every single day, either for my friends, my family or myself. Find the routine that suits you and make you a better YOU.

W6D5. Pilates class this morning with a bunch of really fun Canadian-French girls, and then pushed myself to do a 30 min weight lifting sesh with barbell front squats, back lunge, shoulders press, chest and calves in 10-8-6 reps. My day is complete. A little snack while I am waiting for my grocery in the pick up line. I love those typical Korean treats. Gluten free, dairy free, no sugars and completely organic. #mybattleagainstmysweettooth #makitaste #yum
