During the recordings of the album “Innuendo” at the Metropolis Studios of London, UK in 1990

Imagine being engaged to John Taylor. You can still remember him popping you the question last month as if it were just yesterday. - Earlier that day you saw him with another girl and when you got home you started crying softly. He came in the house and was looking for you a little later. When he saw you sitting on the bed crying he ran over to you. “What’s wrong (y/n)? Why are you crying?” “I saw you today with that girl.” “Do you mean the one that was talking to me at the jewelry shop?” “Yeah John.” He sits on the bed beside you. “Oh love, you don’t have to worry about some girl trying to steal me away from you.” He looks into your eyes and wipes away the tears on your cheeks with his hands. “All I want is you. No one else is as perfect to me as you are, (y/n). I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you and have little Taylors running around calling us mum and dad.” He paused and looked at the floor for a moment. Then he looked back into your eyes. “When I was at that jewelry shop I got you something.” He gets up off the bed and says “I love you and I don’t want to ever lose you, (y/n).” while holding your hands. He gets down on his one knee and pulls out a little white box. With his brown eyes staring into yours he asks “Will you please marry me (y/n)?” You happily say yes as you get up off the bed while he gets up off the floor. He hugs you, picking you up off your feet.
