Killer is Dead resembles Killer7 in some of the character designs - particularily Sumio Mondo just looks like he belongs in Killer7. 

In terms of aesthetics it more resembles a weird hybrid of Shadows of the Damned and Lollipop Chainsaw which makes sense because those are the games that came out right before it. It uses both a lot of darkness and high contrast colours that both those games used. 

In terms of gameplay it resembles Lollipop Chainsaw the most, lots of hack and slash mechanics and fast stylish animation.

I love Killer7. It’s one of my all-time favourite games. Is Killer is Dead anything like it? I know Suda51 is behind both games but that probably doesn’t matter at all.

I have a really bad inferiority complex that's rearing it's head in a character I play. It's not his inferiority complex, it's mine.

But this character has no confidence, has a skewed sense of morality, and wants to be a good person so badly, but has no idea how to be, so just comes off as a self-serving dick. They're an emotional wreck. They're terrified of everything all the time. They also can't satisfy their partner sexually.

I'm not sure if it's my upbringing or not, but I've always felt very squicked out by sex and sexuality and I didn't realize it until about a couple years ago when I was surrounded by furries on all sides. Nothing against furries, but they're a mostly sex-positive group who like flaunting their sexuality/fetishes/preferences. I found that, even if what they drew had no sex acts in it, it still bothered me that they just put their own sexuality on display.

The liberal hard-ass I once was is all "Good for them!" but the quiet, meditating introvert I've become is all "Don't do that, do that in your bedroom." And usually fetish art in particular drive me up the wall. And again, half of me is disgusted, half of me is disgusted that I'm disgusted.

Most people have very open sexualities and kinks on the internet, but a part of me thinks that most people should utilize say, after dark accounts or alternate names. And a part of me is ashamed I think that.

Circular logic, I suppose.
