Support of others
{ Talking with some colleagues about my future solution, which is an application for women to feel more secure and avoid more violence against them, we conclude that many times the mistreatment and even murder happens on the part of the couple. So it would be good if the application had help, be it psychological or legal. That the woman realizes the situation that is living and that opens her eyes before it is too late. So I contacted a friend who is studying psychology and another who is studying law. On both sides, I got a positive response, and they told me that coming back we could together to see what points can be added to the app and in what way, so that the project I have more support with the woman. In the future, I would like to try to grow my projects more because they always remain as prototypes, and I think that although there are very similar technologies, the important thing is to connect with people from other sectors to help you improve your product. They sent me a couple of links, to get more information and to find a way to incorporate that in my app. And later to read, I would like in the future to get in contact with the institutions in my state, that helps woman, and see if we can be partners. It would be cool if my app can help other women and more if they haven’t enough money. The funny thing is that I never imagined working with people from the social area, but they really are a great support to boost the app and give it more support. } ENTREPRENEURSHIP [I]

False identity
{ My future solution is about secure of women. I want to develop an app when the woman feels unsafe, she can send alerts to her friends or family, but also, the user close to her so that she has helped as soon as possible. But my app is a double-edged sword because anyone can make a profile and pose as a woman. And it was that at the beginning, there was a map in the application and you could add the people that we wanted by means of their number. What a bad idea. There are many people who steal identity, and who only look for ways to do evil. And my application is not the exception. Anyone can receive alerts when someone is just pretending to be someone and "wanting to help". And not only that, if the database is not safe enough, you can obtain both personal data and locations in recent days, contacts or even photos. So in the future, when the application is developed more thoroughly, we must consider these points. You have to think like a bad guy, and how they can use your tools against the positive impact. It cannot be vulnerable to attacks and has to have a strong authentication process. } GLOBALCITIZENSHIP [O]

Animation or real?
{ With my team, I had to work on a project based on virtual reality, but focused on children between eight and twelve years old. Our dilemma was how to develop it because there were two ways: it could be an environment super realistic or it could be unrealistic but with interactions (as shown in the image below). During today, we were looking for the best option and everything depended on what we wanted to do for them. So we tried both technologies, and we actually found the second one more fun. Because we could create games, and really interact with space. Whereas if we did it more focused on reality it was like a movie, it was too visual. I think it is necessary to know your options before starting a project, always thinking about the user, not only about you or how easy and fast it could be. Because obviously, it was easier to make a more realistic environment, because the interactions and animations involve logic and programming. In the future, I would like to open up my possibilities when it comes to creating a project that is technology. For example, if I use the internet of things, which would be the best option depending on the user, then I would try to use several and experiment to know which would match better with my user. } TECHNOLOGY [J]

Discovering
{ Today we went to school to try our prototypes. The prototype of my team was based on virtual reality technology. We create an environment of a forest, with animals and a small town. Inside there were many things you could interact with, such as throwing apples, grabbing buckets or taking pumpkins. And in the center of the forest, there was a lake, and on top of it, there was a dragon. When the session began, one of my classmates gave an introduction about what virtual reality was, and then each child would try. It made me super interesting how they asked, how they were surprised when they were inside the environment, and how they discovered that they could interact with objects from there. I had never done something for children before, let alone being so close to them, in that sense. In the future, I would like to do more things for them, and especially for children who are poor, because I believe that this is one of the best ways in which you can create interest in technology. They can try, and it was so fun because they are very spontaneous. They imagination could help me to improve some technologies for them. } ENTREPRENEURSHIP [I]

Start to undertake
The way they gave us today's session was very fun. Today a person came to talk to us that thanks to a thesis project, now he has his business. { To explain how her process was, she gave us a sheet with several sections to answer. Then, for example, she told us her story and, at each stage, so to speak, she put us to write an example. That is, she told us what he wanted to do in her thesis and she told us about his passions and what she did, then she made us write ours, I wrote to schedule, travel, cook and try new food. However, there were more spaces to fill but I really did not know what else to put. Afterwards, she made us write our best characteristics and what we should improve, I put that I work very hard, I am a responsible person and a perfectionist. While in what I must improve is that I am very little creative, very loose and therefore I procrastinate a lot. Based on this, she told us that she had found a partner and told us her qualities that made her coincide with her, so she told us to think of someone with whom we could work and write their qualities. This part I liked a lot because I always want to work alone, but after this activity, I realized that it is better to have a partner to balance their weaknesses with my talents and just the opposite. That is, she put us to write how my weaknesses could be compatible with my partner and in this way make the team powerful. In my opinion, her story was very interesting because he studied the same thing that I did, although he did not like it, she did it. But he managed to project his story with questions to us, as in order to live his process. And when she did, I realized that it is not as complicated as I thought, to get a partner and work together on an idea. In the future, if someone wants to start a business, I would like to use this sheet, but above all to know who to work within the future, because not because I am your friend means that things will turn out well. } IDENTITY [A]

The new way of brainstorm
Based on our target group, which in my case were children from eight to twelve years old, we had to fill out a format to make their gains and pains but more is specific compared to our previous activity, in order to get an idea for our target group. For that we share ideas, on a sheet we wrote down a question, mine was how can children between eight and twelve years old learn with virtual reality? { So in teams three to four, we were rolling the sheets and writing in post it different ideas, since the questions of the others were with other technologies and another target group. You create a way in which creativity can flow because you do not lock yourself in a group of people or in a single technology, you are open to other possibilities, as well as others help you with their opinions. In this way you get ideas from people who are working on something else, that is, they have different and fresh ideas. And with it you can get to form one. I chose to learn history is very boring, but it is important to get good grades and with that to have parents happy. So we had to develop more of our about this, what it consisted of, how it would look visually and what the pros and cons would be. In the future, I would like to use this method as a brainstorming because we all think differently and it helps a lot to flow ideas, and I would apply it in any field, having a basic question that would be a problem, such as, how can we achieve study stop procrastinating? and within the group of people put ideas that solve it. It is a very effective way to obtain new solution concepts. } CREATIVITY [E]

Migration as art?
I went to the Tate museum, in one section there was an exhibition about tennis "Brinco". It caught my attention because it is an art museum, what do tennis with a name in Spanish in a museum in London? { As I got closer and read more, I realized that literally they are tennis for migrants who want to cross the border between Mexico and the US, and obviously they call themselves jumping because of the jump of the wall. The tennis shoes have a compass, a bag to keep money, a flashlight and even a map of the border. I seriously did not know what to think when I saw this, because I never found out about this. And the people who were in the room, many were serious but others laughed. I really get out of the loop, because people who cross the border do it out of necessity, even knowing how dangerous it is. I do not know whether to take it as a joke or not, because at the same time it was super interesting what they did and also the name, jump. The opinion of the creators is an object between need and art, but it really surprised me enough to find myself with that. And that migration really happens everywhere, however, in Mexico-USA is one of the most dangerous and is where most "illegal" transit people. But you have to learn to accept the perspectives of other people, even about problems that are in your environment. I was not offended, but I get a lot of waves. But it is normal, it is a situation that is delicate worldwide. } GLOBALCITIZENSHIP [M]

Mexico in the house
I went to one of the best museums in London, the British Museum, and it was one of my last museums to visit, and I was really surprised. It is an amazing and complete museum. However, { something that I found super interesting and comical, is that there was a room about Mexico. In addition to that, there were pieces in a collection room. When you are in a museum in Mexico reading the information of the pieces, it usually says where it was discovered, what it was for or what it was, to what period and therefore to the culture to which it belongs. However, when you read the information in London, it tells how it was that it got there, who brought it and where it was stored in Europe. It is quite curious because in addition Mexico was conquered by Spaniards, so it is interesting that there are pieces in England, which are very few, but it really caught my attention. In addition, the descriptions of the objects were not suppositions, according to this the information is super truthful, which if I put myself in doubt because even in Mexico it is difficult to know why they used certain objects. In summary, I was very impressed by how they value the ancient Mexican culture and put it on the same level as the Egyptians or Greco. It is impressive, especially of the Mayan and Aztec culture, as is important in other parts of the world. Because although it has been a long time, they have kept those pieces. } GLOBALCITIZENSHIP [N]

Divide
I went to the museum of the house of Anne Frank, and a few years ago I had read the book "The Diary of Anne Frank", and I never thought I had the opportunity to know her house. The museum has a lot of information, super complete, compared to the book. They give you an introduction of who Ana is and a description of each member of her family. And finally, they tell you what happened with the book, what happened to her and her family, and how the diary has impacted. It is a very interesting museum, but at the same time very sad. { At first, I was very excited and I was very happy to have received tickets, but when I left, I asked my friends why they keep on seeing these types of buildings that are very sad and cruel because of what happened, as in Berlin there are remains of the wall. Why do they have these buildings and museums that remind us of how horrific humanity can be, describing the suffering of many people for a long time. So after a talk, I understood that these museums and spaces of the first and second world war, continue to remember what happened, which was horrible yes, but that we know is wrong and does not happen again. And we relate a lot about this situation of the Berlin Wall and the discrimination against the Jews with what is happening in Mexico with Trump. You can not say that the situation is being repeated, but it is very similar. } GLOBALCITIZENSHIP [N]

My team role
In our session of real colors, we made reflections with the team with whom we worked during the significant challenge. They gave us a sheet, as shown in the photo, where there were four boxes with different questions about their development within the team during the development of the project. The members of his team had to answer each one of those questions, due to the inconvenience of the companions of the document, only one person could answer those questions. { The first part is about the role I took within the team, and they wrote to me that I participated in the planning of our development, that is, deciding what we were going to do and what kind of platform, and I told my team that I had experience with Unity, who worked to do what we wanted. And besides, they also told me that I worked on the interactive part of objects within the virtual space. The following table is about the strengths, my partner wrote that the quality developed within the team had a positive attitude and, as I wrote before, I already had experience working on the subject. He also wrote that he should be proud to be a consistent and dedicated person. The third table wrote me some advice that I could apply in the future, and they told me that they will try to be more proactive in the sense of sharing my ideas so that they are also implemented. And the last part is my weaknesses, they wrote to me that it was my little knowledge in unreal engine, that was where we developed our project. It is a good thing, for other occasions, I will try to be more social with my team and above all more participative, because then I often wait to do what they say and I keep my ideas saved. So I will push myself to open up and take away the fear, and the only way to do it is to try it. } IDENTITY [A]

How you are in teamwork?
We did an activity to find out what role we played within a work team, unfortunately, I could not finish it as I should because I had a session with my coach and my teammates had to retire. But to start the session today, we made a team of approximately six people, and with some pieces of scrabble, we did the dynamics. The challenge was to make as many four-letter words and obviously they were related to each other, like playing scrabble but without the board. The first round was with the pieces looking up, and we had to make a strategy to win because the team that put more words won. We won the first rounds, but the funny thing is that we never had a technique, it was when you had a word, put the pieces! The next rounds were with the pieces upside down, so our method was only to divide the pieces to turn them over as quickly as possible. The activity was very fun. After that, we did a test of approximately 40 questions about your behavior with others and how you are working as a team. {My results were that one of my strengths is that I am good at working as a team because I always tend to solve problems that may arise within the team. My potential strengths are that my interpersonal skills are satisfactory, I am always willing to communicate with others, I can dilute with different tasks, objectives and other team activities and always set goals when I work as a team. My weaknesses are that I usually have difficulties to resolve conflicts with my teammates, I am not good at planning or coordinating my teammates and I prefer to work better alone than in a team. I think the test results are very confusing. Because he first says that I always try to solve problems within the team but I have difficulty solving them, that is to say, I always try to make everyone in harmony, but I do not know how to do it. That is a buna observation because nobody likes to work with fights or indifference, but it is very complicated to try to deal with those problems because if someone feels very offended affects the progress and work of the team. So in the future, I will look for the best way to solve problems. Another point was that one of my weaknesses is that I am not good at organizing and planning within a team, and I am in if I completely disagree. In Mexico, it is always me who is setting dates and checking what activities we must do to deliver in time and form. In several teams, I have worked with children and it is very difficult for them to become organized, so I always finish planning our activities, however, that does not mean that it is buna doing it. And finally, yes, I prefer a thousand times to work alone than in a team, because as I have had good experiences with teamwork, also bad. Never miss the person who is always late, who does not participate, who does not want to do anything or who distracts others. It really is very complicated to work as a team and find a point of balance among all the teammates, but when it is achieved you can achieve higher productivity because you enjoy working with these people. I would like better some of these aspects in the future, like trying to enjoy teamwork more. However, I take the good things to know how to deal better in teamwork, especially when there are problems. In the future, I would like to be more tolerant and be open to working as a team. Not all teams are bad, but you have to know how to handle them and communication is everything. This way I will try to have more trust and communication between my teams because that helps us get to know each other and work better. } IDENTITY [A]

Weakness in design process
Design is something that has always been difficult for me, but today, they showed us a method to apply it to our meaningful challenge. { As a team, we had to take the pieces in the form of a pentagon and build our journey to succeed in our project, but first Laure asked us why we were here. I wrote that, first of all, it was the intention to make an exchange, in addition to learning more about the topic of creativity related to technology, another way of learning, and knowing more about the creative design process. After this, to be honest, I do not know what the objective of that little activity was. Laure, we could choose from all the pieces, three that most caught our attention, I chose to sketch, brainstorm and get inspiration. I chose sketch because I feel it is one of the most important things to understand the relationship of your project with your user, in my opinion, you can better understand the process and know what functions are missing, missing or have to be modified, but I also chose brainstorm and get inspiration, because besides that I think they go hand in hand, it's an important step to start a project. Having a brainstorm is a good first step, but if you are blocked or think inside the box, it does not fulfill its purpose, so I think that getting inspiration would help us have more and better ideas. Afterward, Laure made us choose other pieces in which it will be difficult for us to do, so I chose the scenario, business plan and make it sustainable. And definitely the one that most troubles me is a business plan, I have never been struck by the whole business issue, and with that, I do not say that it is not important, so it is enough, it is simply not my thing. Then, teams, we share the activities that will be facilitated and difficult, with the aim of giving us advice. Unfortunately, in my team, most chose the business plan that they did not know how to do it, so I could not receive advice about it. Finally, we made our "journey" based on different phases and activities, to achieve a good project. Defining the design process has never been my thing, it makes it very difficult to know what to do first and understand the methods to obtain user information. So putting together a team plan was complicated for me because I was not sure if my ideas were good. I was not sure whether to say that we must first investigate the user or the interview. Ultimately, I could not support my team as I would have liked, but I could learn from them what their reasons were for selecting certain activities, such as making it sustainable or not wanting to set limits. }IDENTITY [C] But after discussing among us, we managed to get a good list of steps to follow. With few activities, but with specific and consistent objectives

Copying from nature
Omur and Yvonne came to talk about something called "biomimicry". A term that at first, I thought would be a topic related to biology. Although it was not so far away, biomimicry is the translation from biology to technology. I really do not know what the definition is exactly, but that's how I understood it. { It made me a super interesting because although my career is related to technology, I had never thought of something like that, or rather I had not paid much attention to it. They told us about different examples and how they applied it to means of transport, robots, etc. As an activity, they gave us a video of their YouTube page, where we had to explain the characteristics of the animal. That is, for example, with my team we chose the dragonflies. So we had to investigate because many drones were based on their anatomy, and the funny thing was that they are very flexible to change direction. No matter where you are going, you can turn or go back without any problems. Also, they are very agile animals. I really liked knowing about this topic, because I really had no idea how it happened, or that we could build on the qualities of nature to build better technologies. I discovered that many of today's technology is inspired by nature and adapted to improve. Biomimicry, is a science that has a lot of future, and that can be applied to any of the technological fields, and it could be that even biological. I loved the session, the subject is very interesting and I would like to get closer in the future. For example, when we have some challenges, create a solution for natural disasters that happen in my country. We can rely on this technology to look for more innovative solutions. } TECHNOLOGY [L]

Motivating ideas
Today we had a workshop with Ramon Vulling, and I took it more as motivation when creating a business. His presentation was very creative, fun and dynamic so even if you were not interested in the business area, he kept you attentive. He told us about how the ideas to be a business were developed and he made us do some activities. He taught us different methods and techniques, but one of the ones that caught my attention was cross-industry. Because although there are many areas within the business, such as food, technology or health, their technique is based on transferring that from one sector to another. That is, we can take McDonald’s, what does McDonald’s really sell? That the food is really fast and it’s “delicious” so to speak. Now what the technique proposes, is to take those characteristics that make McDonald’s what it is and transfer them to another sector, such as clothes, for example. Then you only had to adapt what was inspired by McDo and apply it to your new sector, and adding new ideas. {During the workshop, I learned a lot about innovating on the basis of other sectors and being able to impact others. As a team, we applied many of the techniques they taught us and we all had many different ideas. Our objective was to impact based on our idea, with the help of other external sectors. I took many good ideas about innovating and obtaining resources that are valuable, as well as adding a bit of your own in each of the steps, in order to have a different result with great impact. That was one of the techniques that caught my attention because it is very creative. He also talked about how we do and make us feel when we talk about some of our ideas. When someone responds positively your mood rises and makes you feel confident. However, if someone tells you that your idea is not going to work, you simply take a step back. So Ramon invites us not to be negative with others and although the idea is not so good, give advice but do not let you feel that idea is garbage. These two methods made me super real and interesting. Apply crossover ideas between companies could apply in future projects that could be my university, as for example in my city there is a lot of production of cars, then you could take ideas from there and apply to my area, computing. On the other hand, that of ideas and motivate others, I had not realized because sometimes I become a very sincere and direct person regardless of whether positive or negative my comment, so when someone tells me his idea, I will try to motivate you more. Either with other options, or telling him his idea is very good. } ENTREPRENEURSHIP [G]

Starting with our shitting robot
Today we begin with the construction of our shitty robot. { In order to decide what we were going to do first, we started brainstorming, but this did not work because we had to first take into account the materials we had at our disposal and collectively, to know what our careers were so we could get more out of it. Knowing that it would be easier to focus our ideas and have more clarity than we wanted to do. My team is made up of engineers so it was easier to land our ideas about robots. Based on the materials we found, we decided to make a set of photos. Since we found a camera of the old ladies, those who use scrolls, we had the idea of making them turn and have to press a button to take the photo. Although the idea sounded simple, arming it had science. Today we started with the design of the device, so we had to decide on what systems and electronic parts we were going to use. For the programming or logic of our robot, we decided to do it in python inside a raspberry pi, while the motor that would turn our camera would be programmed in an Arduino. For future teamwork, we should first know with what materials we have and our abilities to have better ideas, and more focused on reality, that is, that they are possible to do. Because later our imagination can go very far, and it's not bad. But if you delay us in our work when you know that it is not within our reach. I would always like to work with new people, know what their skills are, and how they could support the team with the best they know. } CREATIVITY [D]

Identifying talents
Today we had our first session of true colors. I did not really know what they were referring to that workshop, but their goal is to do self-reflection and to know ourselves more. Today’s activity consisted of discovering some of our talents. They gave us a sheet with a series of situations such as, for example, if I liked the order if I supported my friends or the way in which I made my decisions. In each situation, we had to put from one to five that applied so much in us. To say, a situation where I feel satisfaction to find the perfect words to demonstrate what I want to express. So for me, it applies at all, so I had to put five. There were about forty activities, of which I had to answer from one to five that I felt so identified. In the end, I got eight activities with a number five. {Each activity is related to a specific talent. So I discovered eight talents: Persistent Doer, Rewinder, Yes-Trooper, Fair play promoter, Silver lining catcher, Architect of strengths, Loyal friend, Wordsmith. Persistent doer, I think it’s one of my main talents and one of the ones I already knew I had, I like to make a list of everything I have to do and finish it. I do not like to leave things half-hearted. The other is rewinder, which he did not know could be a talent. I am always reflecting on my actions and what I can do, but more in a social environment. Now that I know it’s a talent, I’ll do it in a more positive way. The following is yes-trooper, and although I also know that I am a person who always says yes, I was really surprised when I knew that it could be a talent. I like to help others, more when I work as a team and when I am asked to do something, I always say yes. I also like to offer myself in things that I am good at and what I can do, so I try to take responsibility for that activity. Silver linin catcher is another of my talents, and some people have told me that I always see things in a positive way. I remember that once I said that I never had bad luck, and someone said “no, it’s that you always see the positive of everything” haha. I really like this talent and I like to share it with others, when my friends or teammates are stressed by problems or get depressed because something did not happen as it should, I always try to make them see the positive of the situation, that there is always a way, and I really enjoy doing it. The other is an architect of strengths, and really to this day I can say that I am such a person because I had never thought about it, I like to see people close to my success in what they like and try to motivate them in what they are. good, but also their personalities, I try to get the best out of them with their partners or friends. The next is a loyal friend and is related to the previous one, and I was really surprised, I do not consider myself a person who is always for his friends but always tried. As all my best friends live far away from each other, whenever they ask me for advice or a call, I try to take the time to talk to them about them. And finally wordsmith, haha this is a complicated one. I am not the best person explaining myself, and I believe that it can be read in my reflections, however, when I get the perfect words to express what I think and feel, I feel fulfilled. I also did not know that this could be a talent, and I really do not know how it could be used in the future, but it’s interesting that trying to say exactly what you want is a talent. In my opinion, if I identify with all my talents, although I do not consider calling them that. I feel that they are simply qualities of each of us, and of which we practice more or that matter most to us. There were talents that I already knew I had as it is to be an orderly or too positive person. But for example that of being a friend I was surprised a little because my best friends we see it every day since we do not share neither school nor city, so I always try to be for them through the internet. It is important to know our strengths, to take them into account in order to improve with oneself and with the people with whom you have relationships. Obviously, I can not remember all my talents every day, but I can select three with whom I identify more or what I would like to work more and take them into account in my work and even in my relationships. The same when someone has a problem, know how I am. For example, I am a very sincere person, and there are people who can not stand being told so direct things, so knowing how you are and how good you help you maintain good relationships and therefore a good work environment. } IDENTITY [A]

How to start our shitty robot?
Today they gave us one of the first team activities, where we will work with these people for a few weeks. The project consists of building a robot for children. So the goal is to make it fun and entertaining for them. The interesting thing about this activity is that in each team we have people focused on the area of engineering, design, and business. At this time we did not have much time to decide what we were going to do because it was based on what we should have called "electronic scrap". In my team, we were two people who knew about software and three who were focused on mechatronics and electronics. So in a multidisciplinary team, you learn a lot from other areas. {In my place of origin, I study engineering in computer systems. So to start I did not bring any electronic trash because I had to take a 12-hour flight. So starting from there, I was missing in the team. But that does not matter, my colleagues understand my situation, which was not totally irresponsible. But if in the future, I should intern fulfill more with my tasks and with it to my team, because although arriving could have tried to find some electronic device that does not work. In the future, I will have more open my possibilities and not stagnate just because it is complicated. On the other hand, I only programmed, I tried with some technologies related to hardware, but honestly it's not my thing. So, for the construction of the robot, and all the circuit part, I do not have enough knowledge to build a robot. Which I did not tell my partner at first, because it's a pity that they knew I do not know so much to program hardware, but with the passing of the days I learned that my classmates are very understanding and try to teach. So in the future, it is better to make known what you know and what not, so that your team takes it into account and can work better. A very simple example could be when I am going to cooking with my mom, I can’t say that I know how to do rice if I don't’ because it is going to be a mess and waste of time and materials. So, at the begging, I have to say my skills and the things I don’t know for a better space and time to work in a team. } IDENTITY [C]
