Wow what an honor thank you so much! Critical Masses and everyone who helped realize this album it was a dream come true <3
CRITICAL MASSES NAMES THE I.E. 12″ THEIR #44 ALBUM OF ALL TIME!!
One of our favorite music sites, Critical Masses, has been on break for a bit. To announce their return, they’re doing a top 50 countdown of all their favorite albums they’ve ever reviewed. I.E.’s incredible 12″ ‘Most Importantly’ has come in at #44!!! I.E. is the former moniker of Margot Padilla who also performs in the experimental hip hop group True Neutral Crew, alongside Signor Benedick The Moor, Brian Kinsman, and Daveed Diggs (Hamilton/clipping.). Her album was produced by Jonathan Snipes of clipping. and definitely is a true classic.
If you’ve never heard this album, you can always grab a digital copy for free from our bandcamp. The vinyl pressing was super limited, just 100 made. We have THREE left, so if you want one, you know the deal: Don’t sleep, It’s Margot, bitch!

Whoooooa hey all! my good friends and I released some special tracks in celebration of Deathbomb winning best underground label award by LA Weekly. Enjoy have fun have a great weekend LOVEEEEEE!!!!
LA WEEKLY NAMES DEATHBOMB ARC THE BEST LA UNDERGROUND LABEL OF 2015!!! WE GIVE YOU A TON OF FREE NEW MUSIC IN CELEBRATION!!!
Very much to our surprise, yesterday the LA Weekly named Deathbomb Arc the best LA underground label! Over the years, our relationship with Los Angeles’ biggest free print weekly could easily be described as…. difficult. Much like a sports team, the players involved at a weekly are changing from year to year. In periods of time when we’ve considered the LA Weekly to be doing amazing things for the community, we’ve praised them. In times when we’ve felt like the wrong staff was on board and corporate interests seemed to be a bigger priority, we’ve been vocal about it. Given that no one likes complainers, it wouldn’t seem strange nor inappropriate for the LA Weekly to exclude us from something like this. So it is truly an honor to get this recognition, despite being such a difficult friend to have. Thank you so much.
SOOOO, to celebrate, we’ve assembled a free compilation of 100% unreleased tracks from musicians in the Deathbomb Arc family!! It is called ‘Best dressed’ and features Turbine (member of rRope), KANGA remixing True Neutral Crew (members of clipping., ex-Foot Village), Gang Wizard, Books on Tape, William Hutson (member of clipping.), Stupid Future (members of Male Bonding, Signor Benedick The Moor, tik///tik), Joel Jerome, Margot Padilla (formerly I.E.), and Shady Van Gogh!

BLANK VIDEOTAPES REMIX OF IE!!!
You may remember him from his remix of True Neutral Crew a little bit back, but regardless, this IE treatment from Blank Videotapes is 100% a non-figurative gem that you can take to the local pawn and turn into literal poetry. Enjoy!
