while i admittedly will STILL be getting maria when she’s released, my honest feelings about her being alive is that it’s certainly not the flex the devs think it is

it just comes off as this convoluted cover-up for the fact that her body originally supposed to be on nancy’s house was leaked. they were kicked down so bad & offended by it, they wanted to pull off a “haha, gotcha” moment but… they just look dumb. considering they CONSTANTLY stated before that she was/is dead.

(also maybe it’s just me, but i get the deep suspicion they’re going to have some suggestive voice lines between johnny/maria… they’re gonna push for that romantic plotline or smth)

i’m honestly more surprised they got a big name voice actor for maria 😭 like damn y’all got the money for that but to not fix the varying issues that keep coming up with the game

people are STILL refusing to give the final girl title to ana/maria even though the devs have labeled them as the “Final Girl”?! they genuinely believe it’s julie all bc of that devs stupid hc, let woc in horror have their respected titles

to me ana is still the final girl 🤷🏼‍♀️

from the trailers & “lore” we know that danny officially dies first as he’s the one who went searching for maria 2 weeks earlier but ended up at nancy’s house. Virgina found maria at the family house where they tried to escape but were captured and taken to the mill where they sadly met their demise even before ana reached the house. I’m assuming by Hands as he was shown killing virgina in the trailer and him being a “distant relative” probs wouldn’t care so much about Grandpas soft spot for maria. Ana & her friends were ambushed outside the property & taken to the family house. We see in a trailer that leland was killed in front of connie. Connie, Julie, & Sonny’s death order is unknown, but there’s no way gun is out here calling Ana the final girl since the game dropped only for her not to survive the longest.

with the reveal of maria i’m just going to go ahead and say that the devs never had a definite story line/lore to begin with & this proves it with the way they changed so many things

johnny the type to walk up to sissy and say ‘what kinda crap are you watching now’ 🤨 he proceeds to hover over her for an hour getting more and more invested in the show throwing out a disgruntled insult every now and then to tell sissy that this is definitely stupid and only idiots would watch this kind of stuff. he repeats next week when the new episode airs.
