Carlisle would never say he knew everything, but he would go as far as to say he knew Edward. He knew what the younger man needed was time to adjust. He smiled and shook his head. “That’s what this life is, a waiting game.” And because they were in the safety of their home, and because it always made him feel better, he walked to the windows and pushed the curtains aside letting a dim ray of sunlight land upon his skin. “Are you ever upset with me?      THIS HAD BLOWN UP IN HIS FACE COMPLETELY. changing rosalie so that edward could have a mate wasn’t the ONLY reason why he had changed her, but it did have some influence in his decision. he only turned people that were close to death, that had no other OPTION, but the blonde was beautiful and edward was lonely. he sits at his desk still, like a greek statue, not even his shoulders and chest moving as he refuses to breathe. he can’t lie to her, that wasn’t who he was, but he couldn’t have her run off and massacre the whole city either. ❝ no, well it wasn’t the ONLY reason. ❞ finally he broke his stillness, moving forward and placing his arms on the desk in front of him. ❝ i’m a doctor and turning you was the only way to SAVE you, what they did to you was terrible, but the idea of you being edward’s mate did have a push to my decision. you must know though, i had to act FAST and my intentions were jumbled up. ❞

no matter where the party was  — —  or more like, whose party it was, koda would always find his way in. the fact that he hadn’t gotten an invite didn’t matter as all he cared about was the free booze and all the fun he could have without a single worry. after all, it wasn’t his house. we all know those crazy party boys who would leave the place wrecked after the night was over  ?  yeah, he was one of them.

               as cliche as it might sound, this night happened to be a little different. even though he hadn’t had a chance to talk to the  ’  star  ’  of the party, the birthday girl herself, he couldn’t help but to notice how absolutely stunning she was. the way she had laughed with her friends earlier that evening, how kind she seemed to be…  he thought it was charming. and when the boy finally wanted to go and have a chat with the beauty, she was nowhere to be found. he told his friends he’d be right back  — —  and so the search began.
