Snarry AUctober fest is an annual fest exploring Snarry in various AU settings, and is an often fun and thoughtful exploration of my beloved OTP in various scenarios and settings. The fest always provides so many good reads, but to start you off, here are my top 5 for the 2023 fest!

The London House

Severus never anticipated the stroke of luck which led him to discover kindred spirits in Muggle London, yet it turned his life around. He never expected to fall in love either, but he must now deal with the consequences. Innocent Lilies

It was bittersweet to have Harry as he was back then — a charming boy who asked after another's health, who cared for the hippogriffs roaming the castle grounds, and who greeted Severus each day with a bashful hello. Now Harry was the Dark Lord, ruling the land with a tight grip and harsh declarations, so different from his first eighteen years of life.

This year's prompts will be posted in a Discord channel designed specifically for 25 Days of Draco and Harry. If you don't have Discord or choose not to use it, the prompts will be made available to you in another way. Details and an invitation to this Discord will be sent to you on or shortly after 13 October.  

Two things you need to know.  

1) There will be different sets of picture prompts for each way of participating, although there are a few that may have been selected for both. This way, the folks who like to be surprised will not ruin anything for those who have selected the traditional method.  

2) As in the past all the photos are visible only to those who have signed up to participate - so PLEASE put a copy of it - or a description of the picture in the header of your fic. Or save it to your own computer and link it that way. If you need help with this - grab a mod, we're happy to help. A detailed description will be included with each prompt.  

Early bird sign up will close on Friday, 11 October on or about 9pm CST. You will receive, via email, a link to the photos for access no later than 13 October (sometime that day or evening).

Introducing our very first Harmony Kinktober! We have created a list of 31 kinks/prompts for you to choose at your perusal (listed in the included graphic). To fulfill a prompt, you must first claim the prompt(s) you are writing for here.

Rules:

The fic has to center exclusively around the H/Hr pairing

Must be at least 1k words.

You can fulfill a prompt by incorporating it into your fic or making it a central theme. Using one prompt doesn’t prevent you from including other prompts or kinks in that fic nor does it stop you from using that kink in another prompt fic. A single fic can feature multiple kinks, but clearly state which prompt it is meant to fulfill by claiming the prompt through the AO3 collection and fulfilling it that way.

Each fic can only be used to fulfill one prompt.

The fic must follow our rules. (consensual / dub con) is allowed, but explicit non con is not. H/Hr must, at minimum, be at their HBP ages.

Prompts do not have to be fulfilled in chronological order from the calendar. You may choose to pick and fulfill them in any order you wish.

Although this is expected to be a primary fic based event, fanart prompt fulfillments are always welcome!
