"You got me!" The young technorganic grins, but she's just a smidge embarrassed that she doesn't know who this bot is— she certainly seems very nice, so she doesn't have her guard up yet.

"Who's been talking about me?" She jokes, extending a hand for a yellowy servo to shake. She's a little bit out of her element when it comes to meeting new bots, but at the very least she feels safe.

this is a lot, but i like answering questions so i'm not pressed. i answered the first one in the last ask!!

what got me into tfs is.. really dumb actually. i dabbled in the fandom late last year for just a little bit after reading some fics and being genuinely confused at all the new terminology. what hooked me in THIS time was a textpost about blurr. (this one!) i looked up a compilation of g1 blurr and fell so in love i just had to continue.

fav autobot is going to have to be blurr, obviously (he's completely my favorite character, really, except for idw where he's a little bit of a jerk). aside from that, i guess rewind? going a little obscure with autobots, here— out of the mains i'm very simple. optimus, ratchet and jazz are always characters i can depend on, and for tfa specifically prowl and bulkhead, who i guess i'm just going to keep mentioning (i love them so much,)

favorite decepticon is soundwave, definitely. i have SUCH a soft spot for him, and even if he's the obvious pick he's just such a fun character. aside from him, rumble and frenzy are pretty strong, and the tfa constructicons are pretty great too.

i ship just about anything most people ship, but i've also been really interested in soundstar lately! current infatuations include any main ship from botbots, which i think everyone should watch <3

favorite series is probably animated, but keep in mind i've only seen 2 series in full (and animated isn't even one of them!) i really love the characters and as hard as i try i think i'm probably always going to see tfa bulkhead as the one true bulk.

character that deserves a year of drinks? ratchet, probably. man's seen a lot. any continuity, it does not matter. aside from that i'd say maybe swerve, though he's already got a bar, or even somebody like bonz-eye? she has to put up with a lot.

    “The only reason I have asked is due to an adolescent,” he mused. Of course, portrayal in media was not automatically equivalent to reality. Perhaps it occurred often with adults too, but they simply had more experience with handling a crushing development.

    Ratchet did arch a brow at the latter of Rewind’s comments.

    “You have never experienced a sentiment so strongly toward your spouse that you resorted to foolishness, or simply felt foolish from being unable to think clearly?” He was unsure whether he found the possibility impressive, or unusual. It was certainly uncommon, regardless.

Compared to Ratchet, Rewind had startlingly little firsthand experience with humanity. He knew a lot from the media he’d seen and stored, but actually talking to humans? Yeah, that was pretty much a no.

“Yeah? What’s the situation with the kid?” He didn’t get to dwell on that very long before being questioned about his relationship.

“Don’t get me wrong, I love my Domey with everything I’ve got, and we’ve been plenty foolish around each other,” it’s better if Ratchet didn’t know how they met, “but I just wouldn’t call it a crush. I always knew it would be him, after my first relationship, but.. it doesn’t feel the same as it looks with the humans. It’s a lot more.. worn in.”

Mo's nose crinkles up with an aborted laugh as her mother presses their faces together, and she places a hand on Dot's shoulder, squeezing lightly. She's more than happy spending time with her siblings, or her family as a whole— but nothing beats a little bit of alone time with Mom, something she hasn't really had in a while.

"I love you too, Mom," she replies with a little giggle, lips quirking up in a more genuine smile. Dot's suggestion gets her excited, and she rocks back on her heels with unbidden joy.

"Oh, wow, can we? We're probably gonna have to make a lot, huh?" She figures the Terrans probably can't actually eat ice cream, but it's a clear request to take their time together.

"You're right, I am busy. I have been busy. And I'll do better to spend more time with you, okay?"

Dot leans forward, pressing her forehead against Mo's, smiling fondly. She loves all of her kids, it's true! But there's no denying that Robby and Mo are impossibly important to her, and she hates that she may have done anything to make Mo feel like she doesn't have time for her, or may not make time for her if she wants it.

"I love you, baby, okay? You're my baby girl. Nothing is gonna change that." She rubs their foreheads together for a moment, then offers a quiet smile. "How 'bout we make ice cream together, like we did back in Philly? Just you and me."

Mo smiles as her face is cupped, but it doesn’t quite reach her eyes. She feels a little bit like a baby for this (she loves all of her siblings, seriously!), but.. she always has been the baby, if only by a couple years. She shouldn’t be expected to just take such a significant change to her family dynamic in stride, as much as she tries to.

“But you’re busy,” she says very quietly, shifting her gaze down to her feet, anywhere but her mother’s lovingly stern expression.

She acts like she’s someone big and tough, but.. she’s nine. Being brave for herself, Robby, and the Terrans is a big ask.

“It makes sense,” Mo starts, wrapping her arms around her mom’s waist and tucking her face into her side, “but the twins and triplets are pretty excited. They might want more time than you have to give.”

Her voice is uncharacteristically small— is this the first hint of jealousy towards her new little siblings?

Well, the Terran kids usually fuel in a different way, Sari doesn’t even know if she can have Cybertronian food, and Mo is a human so she is staying very far away from all this lest she get any of the blame.

Luckily they’ve all been raised with manners, (and Sari common sense), so nobody actually makes a move to eat anything, though Thrash and Jawbreaker look quite like they want to.

“Does being poisoned by any of this count?” Sari quips.

Several robot children coming to your door right this moment (and probably Sari, she wants to know if they're edible for her). You're gonna want to lock those up.

Oh, no, they’re for sharing! As for whether or not Sari can eat them… uh… Rung will have to check with Ratchet.

    Ratchet nodded as he listened, absorbing the second opinion. Rewind certainly sounded more knowledgeable of human media than he was (Ratchet rarely watched films in entirety, his attention was usually lost for one reason or another).

    “I have assumed it is along the lines of infatuation, rather than well-established sentiments. I’ve noted foolishness related to it more than maturity, but my personal observations have been extremely limited.” And understanding the range of emotions related to romantic categories had always been a challenge for him, even among his own species.

Well, Rewind had made some sort of a name for himself for having such a comprehensive database, so he made it his business to actually, you know, keep in touch with what was in it (for better or for worse). It was mainly Cybertronian stuff, of course, but he was not immune to a good Earth flick.

“Infatuation is a pretty good comparison,” the minibot nodded, crossing his arms over his chest. “And foolishness is even more apt, I think. As far as I know, anybody can have a crush, but there’s a whole lot more emphasis on it in movies or shows about younger humans.”

“The term could be applied to any species that falls in love, I figure, but I wouldn’t call what I have, or have ever had with my conjunx a ‘crush.’“

“So it doesn’t bother you to have to sacrifice these guys?” Swerve wouldn’t call himself a bleeding heart by any means, but he’s definitely not immune to a little creature, and he wouldn’t expect Rung to be either.

“You think the milk could have any use in the bar?” It’s mostly a joke, but hey, he’s very serious about his business.

He’s all questions right now, sure, but he keeps thinking of more. “How big do they get when they’re full grown? They seem kind of big to me right now.”

"Wow, those are loud." It's Swerve, here to probably put his foot in his mouth. At least he's not being tortured by Unicron.

"Most youths are. Giant Turbo Leeches are quiet creatures when they age, but young ones talk as much as we do."

He strokes one, scratching a little muzzle with his finger.

"Would you like to say hello? They just fed so they won't bite."
