Hello everyone,

Congratulations! Steam punk won in the end! So here’s the application for Punk’d: A Steam Punk Maplestory collaboration. Whether it’s Edelstein inspired outfits or something entirely different, anything with gears or fancy goggles is awesome!

The application deadline is January 14th at 11:59 P.M. Pacific Time. Another round of applications will be then opened for those who want to choose a second character and will end January 20th at 11:59 P.M. Pacific Time. The deadline to submit your art will be February 14th at 11:59 P.M. Pacific Time.

It’s first come, first serve for characters. Please send an ask through our inbox/fanmail with the character you want to draw. One artist per character (with the exception of cisswaps). Image size should be around 8.5 inches wide and 11 inches high. Resolution should be 150 DPI. Full body is required. The background must be transparent (if you do not know how to make an image transparent, message the mods and we will help you).  Remember, no nsfw or extreme blood.

Happy holidays to everyone! First of all, I sincerely apologize for the lack of collabs or updates. Secondly, I think it’s time to be transparent with the community on what’s going on behind this blog. Third, there is a poll for new collab themes here. People may only choose two options, as these will be referenced for later collabs. Read more for the second point.

Hi. This is mod star. The main (and only) mod of mapleanthology. When I made this blog, I was inspired by KMS artists who would create fascinating pieces of art and compile them together into one singular project (especially for the Global fandom, where Maple is not quite as popular). Now? I’m not sure where that energy has gone. I still love Maplestory, don’t get me wrong. But I haven’t really touched Maplestory in months. The game mechanics are monotonous and grinding in the same theme dungeons on different characters becomes tiresome (no matter how interesting the new characters storyline is. Sorry Nova classes). I only logged in to Maplestory to play The Black Blockbuster update and didn’t touch the game again. I think it’s hard to try and put together a collab for something you’re not interested in actually playing anymore. 

Here’s the point though. I’m still here because the community is still here. You guys inspire not only me, but each other to produce content that everyone can enjoy. Head canons, art, writing, it’s all the little things that people put in the Maplestory tag that really help convince myself that this blog needs to continue on. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. I’ll remain here as long as people are still interested in doing things like this.

hey everyone! mod koot here to present to you guys another maplestory secret Santa! Dates and more information would be posted tomorrow but just to let you guys know the sign up date opens on the 17th of October! I will also have another mod joining to help with this event :)

The way to submit pieces is by uploading your work in an image hosting website (ex: imgur), and sending the link as a submission into our inbox. Submitting directly into our inbox is okay, but please be aware that your image may be shrunken down.

The poll results are in, and summer theme won out! Here’s the application page for Sun’s Out: a summer themed Maplestory collab. Characters can be either be enjoying summer activities or wearing summer clothes/swimsuits.

The application deadline is July 3 at 11:59 P.M. Pacific Time. Another round of applications will be then opened for those who want to choose a second character and will end July 6 at 11:59 P.M. Pacific Time. The deadline to submit your art will be July 21 at 11:59 P.M. Pacific Time.
