OUTSIDE - Better living with Creative Block from Simon Braud on Vimeo.

Creative block affects so many of us, especially when creativity is a part of our life. With OUTSIDE, I propose a diffetent perspective: seeing it not as a barrier, but as an opportunity—to slow down, change surroundings, and rediscover a sense of renewal.

Through this video, I’ve explored this idea in my own way, combining mindfulness with thoughtful visuals to encourage stepping back from the pressures and expectations that weigh on the creative process.

This approach, both personal and universal, isn’t about offering solutions but about opening a door—a starting point for self-reflection. Sometimes, all it takes is looking elsewhere to find a new spark.

Thoughts about digital trash: I was going through my Dropbox, freeing up space, and I thought about all those tests, backup files, and WIPs we’ve produced and left there, just wasting space. I started thinking about all those pieces we don’t see that didn’t make it to the final cut, but are still there around as waste. This is another Houdini exploration trying to convert questions into animation. I used mainly Cloth and ShapeMatch constraints from Vellum. Working closely with IBM, we developed a short film introducing Granite, their latest large language model. Based on a provided script, we designed and crafted all the imagery, undertaking extensive visual ideation and development to create a compelling and cohesive narrative. The film highlights key features of Granite, demonstrating its ability to process, understand, and generate human-like text.

Additionally, we created the music and sound design, ensuring a seamless audiovisual experience that amplifies the impact of IBM’s AI innovations.

Coinbase | CB1 Card Launch from Tendril on Vimeo.

The first credit card from Coinbase unveiled at their annual summit. This teaser for the new CB1 Credit Card was inspired by the concept “Made by Metal." Showing off the card's weight and texture, our approach emphasized its premium construction and unique visual detail. A little material ASMR with Coinbase's signature blue as a flourish.

Personal project. For Christmas Santa gave me a book made by Vitra Design Museum. Presenting their first ever museum exhibition about Nike, the world’s most revered sports brand. The exhibition Nike Form Follow Motion is/was running from 21.09.2024 – 18.05.2025. The book was greatly inspiring visually. And the whole concept of exploring, creating and pushing the boundaries, really spoke to me. So I humbly created something based on that concept, but also used it as an opportunity to evolve more with CGI simulations and dynamics.

Lightyear — Solar Charging from PlusOne® on Vimeo.

For Lightyear we've crafted a series of films that help create awareness of Solar Electric Vehicles (SEVs). The three films each cover a different topic in a clear, minimalistic manner, with the message in the driver seat. This is the first film, which is about solar charging.
