Deep in the Everfree Forest, Trixie sleeps peacefully in the caravan, foolishly parked in the middle of one of the most dangerous glades on the face of Equestria. A howling wind awakes her all of a sudden, and she gasps to see her hat and cape floating out of the open hatch in her caravan.

Immediately she lunges out, giving chase through the forest as her garments mysteriously continue to withdraw away from her, retreating deeper and deeper until finally she reaches a clearing in the trees. A looming shadow comes across her and Trixie quakes on the spot in the intimidating presence of a large, gargantuan manor house.

Biting her lip, she spots her hat and cape floating away inside through the front door.

Knowing that she must retrieve her valuables back, she nudges the blue gates open and dares to intrude.

Well isn't this interesting?

I was going through the list of pages again and double-checking to make sure I wasn't missing any...and I found something interesting!

I had been listing the page count at 212 purely since the last page said 212 (and using "page" in the [find] function would get me triple the results, so that wouldn't work)

Yet when I recently checked, since I'm almost finished adding all the text, something came to light: multiple pages were missing. Not that I can't find them, but the numbers never showed up on the list. So when I recounted and disregarded the pages that just weren't in the list of text files I had been using (they're in, don't worry!) I had a pleasant surprise!

There aren't 212 pages...THERE ARE 209!

And of those two remaining pages lies my biggest mystery of them all: Trixies Hat and Cape.

THE ONE PIECE! THE ONE PIECE IS REAL!

Finding this little ensemble is worth 200 points! It's why Trixie even enters the mansion so it's a really big find! The audio version, however, didn't have this page at all! Players who only went through the audio version could never find this, the page literally didn't exist in that version. My guess is that's because the folks at Nimbus Productions never found it!

I remember the day I went through the game myself on DeviantArt and found this. Navita, that sneaky little bingus, hid the Hat and Cape in a way that makes it so easy to miss you could play this game 30+ times and still not find it! It doesn't even have a page number! Without question: The page exists.

The Mansion is an old MLP choose your own adventure fangame by NavitaSerusSirus that was hosted on DeviantArt; it and all of the assets were lost to account deactivation back in 2015. It’s on the brink of being lost to time…and I’m fixing to change that!

This blog will hold all the pages I find and be a diary of sorts for my progress
