Would it be wrong if Seamus' immediate thought went to 'is this gonna be another twilight rendition'? Except Aleks didn't end up saying he was a vampire and instead said something entirely different. Something that wasn't as bad as saying he was a vampire if he had to admit. He stayed a bit quiet, as if debating a few things before speaking slowly. "A hybrid..." Seamus clicked his tongue, then let out a breath of air. "Well Aleks, congrats on being a hybrid this changes absolutely nothing on what I thought before. You're still an idiot and you're still my friend." However Seamus turned his head to him, giving a slight smile. "----just got a few extra animal parts."

  Aleks looked away for a moment and paused in the middle of beginning to say a word. He hadn’t thought this out at all, and had no idea how to say it. “I’m not a human. I’m uh… I’m a hybrid.” Well. At least it felt nice to actually say it. He couldn’t stand hiding away his ears and tail so others couldn’t see. The only other person who knew was Jordan, who had to know because he hired him.

A part of him wished he didn't drag K out to the woods with him on a rumor. Even wished that she turned him down a few several hundred times to make it sink into his brain that coming out here in the first place was an entirely bad idea. Sadly that didn't happen which brought them to where they are now, Entirely separated by a wild animal roaming around. God damn it. The area seemed clear, save for a hooting owl hanging around in the branches of the tree above him. It nearly gave him a heart attack when he first heard it, surprised him, not scared.  Taking in a breath he caught up on the air he had lost, stepping out from behind the woodwork to look around. "K?" He called his friend's name, a little bit urgent than he's ever been. What if the wolf got her? Fuck. He stepped from the area, pacing around the woods now looking from tree to tree until he just came to a stop at a horrible sight. "K what the hell happened?" Rushing over he slid down into the leaves, gently trying to move the fabric of her clothes to see how bad the bite was. This was entirely his fault.

This was not good.

Only moments ago she had been with her friend Seamus, investigating the woods, and having a great time. But, because of a sudden wolf appearance, the two had gotten split up. And now she was propped up against a tree, with a bite on her side from the wolf they had been running from.

The wolf had left her alone after biting her, which she found a bit weird, but that wasn’t her main issue. She was bleeding, alone, in the middle of the woods.

Why had she let him drag her out here in the first place?!

   Seamus normally never went out at this time, especially in Seattle where some violent acts against hybrids go on in the dead of night, but this time he had absolutely no choice. A job interview was a job interview and lucky for him it was at a place that was pro-hybrids. He really needed work, any kind of work too just as long as it was work. So if it was Target? Then who was he to refuse? He did desperately need the money. The hybrids ears twitched on his head at all the night sounds that went on, bushy tail flowing behind him with each of his movements. Not many people were outside, it meant he was surely safe. At least for now anyways. Heaving a sigh he turned a corner, going off into an empty alley way. It was a bit chilly he had to say, curling his tail around himself in an attempt to warn him up. Thank god for being a squirrel. That will be the only time he'll ever say that After a few moments, the squirrel wasn't watching where he was going because of being too distracted by his thoughts. So sadly said squirrel took a trip to the ground, colliding with a few metal trash cans and a loud curse word to follow after.

Hybrid//Open

—It was odd. Griffon used to be fond of the night, the sight of stars and how the moon grew with each passing night, but now the night was nothing more than a hiding blanket. No more than a way to keep out of the sight of unwanted watchers. It was hard for her to hide the fact she was a hybrid after all, segmented tail curling lazily to side as she walked. She would have been fine walking the streets is she was a different type of hybrid— but a scorpion? Hah, imagining the way people would scream at the sight made a small smile cross her lips, a huff of a laugh leaving her throat. If it happened the screams would probably haunt her.

Still drawn into her thoughts the blonde had come to a stop, lent back against a cold, hard structure that resided behind her. With a sigh then Griffon closed her eyes and tilted her head back. Tonight was just going to be one of those nights she wished she had company that wasn’t going to scream.

----It was a busy morning for him, rushing about getting everyone's orders with not a single minute of rest in between. Hardly was it ever this busy save for the rush hours so he was a bit pleased about it. Meant that possibly more tips which also means he'll soon be able to get that car he's been wanting. Walking everyday is starting to become a hell of a bitch. Wiping the swat from his brow he turned around with cups and plates in tow, lugging them all the way back into the kitchen to be cleaned. Soon he walked right back out pausing to look at the door to see one of his favorite customers, not just because he's cute either. "Aleks. Right on time as always." He slipped up to the counter, leaning his elbows on it. "What can I do for you?"

We'll Get Through This

—-Every morning was the same routine; quick shower, get dressed, visit the cute barista at the cafe. He enjoyed it. It made his morning worth it. The cute blond every one mistook for a female? Yup. That one.

Hands shoved in his pocket, he began the walk from his home to the cafe. The air was cold and everything around felt lazy. That was typical for a Colorado morning, though. The minutes dragged on, but he soon arrived at the cafe and headed inside. He spotted Seamus, and his heart skipped a beat. 

The boy was already head over heels for him.
