Mary’s Thoughts on Lilith

Mary knew that Lilith was closed off due to her family's constant pushing for achievement, she had seen this first hand. Since Lilith got her ‘hellish’ abilities she has boxed herself in, not letting anyone in her mental fortress. Which of course was understandable, but Mary wished Lilith would open up more. She can see Lilith deal with all of her problems alone, and quite frankly, it doesn’t help her. Mary considers if Lilith will ever open up enough to love another person, and although Mary doesn’t want to seem selfish, she wishes Lilith would open up more to her.

Lilith’s Thoughts on Mary

Lilith saw Mary as a role model, she was strong and well mentally conditioned. She also admired her ability to stay strong in vulnerable situations, it was something that Lilith had been finding hard since her other-worldly adventure. After Shannon, Mary had closed herself off, yet she still seemed so stoic and put-together. Lilith wonders if Mary will ever love again after Shannon, she hopes that Mary will return her love, although that would be selfish.

Lilith's Thoughts.

Lilith always had a sense of lacking self confidence. Her peers always assumed the best of her, due to her extensive lineage. Yet when the rumoured new recruit was said to arrive at the Cat's Cradle, she was intrigued .

Apparently this woman was not a nun, Lilith didn't understand how someone could devote their life to serving the Church without taking vows.

Deep down Lilith knew that her invalidating of this woman was actually caused by her own insecurities. Growing up with a constant expectation to be the best of the best was very damaging, the need to master all of the skills she was tasked with was overwhelming. In her teenage years she had no time for normal things, as she was as devote to God as one could be.

So when a new Sister Warrior who hasn't taken vows arrives, a bit of reluctance is expected.

Once Beatrice heard her name fall from Ava's lips, strangled and painful, she knew in that moment she cared for Ava more than she liked to admit.

When she reached her body, Beatrice had her heart set on only one thing. Getting the love of her life out of the tomb. Yet Adriel had other plans, as his hand rose from the crumbling debris of the catacombs Beatrice was truly agape, so much so the phrase "What the fuck" managed to slip through her expertly built walls. Never in her life in the OCS would she expect to fall in love, never mind find a so called 'devil' and curse.

But life had other plans.
