Does pagents empower women?

Yes and no, for me everything can be good or bad to anyone ,just like pagents it can really empower women but it also had its bad sides.

First off why can pagents empower women? having pagents can showcase what women can do, pagents gives women the spotlight they want to have and deserve, it can be used as stepping stone to voice out what they wanted to say publicly, it showcases womens mezmerizing beauty and their uniqe talent and skills and pagents also influence other women to have self love and notice themselves.

But in the other hand it can also have some negative effects on women empowerment,this can lead into body shaming making them hate and unwanting their apperance, it also sets the beauty standards.

Most pagents can be good or bad, overall pagents can empower but it has its negativity. for me whether it could cause good or bad effects on people the answer lies on our own interpretation, understanding and how we will see it

Equality

A work that dates back more than 30 years ago but the message is and problems that is portreyed there is still relevant up to today. It was a poem created by maya angelou, a black lady that faced a lot of hardship and challenges and had put her hearth and mind into creating that work. she used that work to make a stand for the oppresing problems faced by people. Inequality. the unfair treatment for people that "isn't like everyone" . the lack of respect, the racial and gender issues.

in the poem there is a repeating sentence "Equality and i will be free"

A work by an indie wirtter mike portes "Minsan may isang puta" catched people's attention and interest. when it would be your first encounter with her work it would be kind of a blur. it was about a mother that became something she does not want for her children.when reading this something will accur to you. you would continue to read and read wanting to know what would be next. it was a very creative and nice text and the effect of it? it would make u think and realize things. when reading it you would probably ask yourself "what the hell is this" "cruel world huh" "something seems off tho what could it be?" then realization hits you it was like "OHHHHHHH I DID NOT EXPECT THAT" when approaching the last part of the text you would have mixed emotions because it was really well made it was hard to expect that, when you read that last text it would slowly sink into you and realization will hit you. for me it would be hard to forget that, and that in my oppinion would be the literary piece of her work.

Different thoughts and understandings were made by those who were able to read and made their own understanding about this. Different ideas will sink into your mind. So? where does most people start? Yes! thats correct at the title! that is the first thing we read and at this case there are different thoughts to be made. "May isang puta" most text out there does not have this kind of tittles. The word "puta is often used as a profanty and used as a term for a whore. A person that sells their body for pleasure and satisfaction and gets money in exchange.The story was about a beautiful young girl that had been abused by men, but she had a big problem she liked and had build a relationship with her last abuser she said that she can not forget him and he always had lots of gifts so she and her children had lived a comfy life for some time. is there something the writter wants us to understand? something we need to know? but i guess it would be very hard to guess that missing piece without reading the ending first. as you approach that last part it would slowly sink into you and slowly understand and realize the full concept and meaning of the story.

Her name was Phillipines. the loving mother that would do things for her children. the mother that faced many challenge but always manage to get tru. A beautiful country that had been abused. "tatlong beses ako nagahasa ang huli ang pinaka hindi ko malilimutan" and what was the meaning of that ? it was the 3 countries that occupied the phillipines althrough her dark, painful history. we filifinos are her children, most people wants to go abroad for a better life, most of her children dosen't care anymore and some are still trying to help. this kind of writting is very important. works like this can help our fellow filifinos. we can help her in our own little ways. We would still fight towards succes and showing love for our beautiful country Philipines.

There is still hope for peace. The fight for land, pride, power belief and country

Let the lessons of the past teach us. the palastine and iraeli is in battle since 1948 since israel proclaimed istself as a state.HAMAS was formed in late 1987 at the beginning of the first Palestinian fights. In 1967, Israel did a defencive war agains Jordan, Egypt and Syria,this seized the Sinai peninsula and the Gaza Strip from Egypt, the Golan Heights from Syria, and the West Bank and East Jerusalem from Jordan. The six-day war was a succes for Israel. Its capture of all of Jerusalem this opened the way to the construction of Jewish settlements in the West Bank, which became central to the war.

the israel belived that israel was the promised land and they were chosen by god to rule over that country

In 1964,Palestinian groups founded the Palestine Liberation Organisation under the leadership of Yasser Arafat to establish an Arab state in place of Israel.the PLO drew attention to the world becaused they caused terrorist attacts and high profiled hijackings

Hamas won the 2006 Palestinian elections in part because of a backlash against the corruption and political stagnation of the ruling Fatah party. The Hamas leader Ismail Haniya was appointed prime minister. Israel began arresting Hamas members of the Palestinian parliament and imposed sanctions against Gaza.

Hamas and Fatah resulted in violence. An agreement to form a national unity government fell apart and Hamas led an armed takeover of Gaza while Fatah continued to control the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank. There have been no elections since.

In the following years Hamas and Israel continue to fight. Roughly 6,400 Palestinians and 300 Israelis had been killed in 2008 Hamas launched missile attacks on Israel, and Israel fired massive strikes agains them.

Israel engaged in major military operations including: the 22-daylong 2008 "Operation Cast Lead;" the 2012 "Pillar of Defense" eight-day operation; and the "Protective Edge" operation in 2014.

At least 1,400 people have died and 3,400 others have been injured in Israel after HAMAS attacked israel on october 7. Hamas fired thousands of rockets toward Israel and an estimated 1,000 fighters crossed into the country from the neighboring Gaza Strip. Israeli officials said at least 130 civilians and soldiers have been killed

The israel now declared war and launched hundreds of airstrikes on Gaza.

Palestinins said at least 2,750 have died and another 9,700 have been injured in Gaza by the Israeli response.

Because of this war many people died and is traumatized for life. We can only hope that in gods time the wars would stop and there would be peace and the young ones would not suffer the consequences of their actions.we can all take a stand to stop that war like doing something like this but in the end of the day it is still in the hands of the leaders to stop this war. because of this war there is an alliances being created for god knows what. we can only hope that one day this would all stop and peace will be back and the rightful people will be able to have what is rightfully for them and the land they deserved
