How fun is this?
If you have any old or empty compacts kicking around you should definitely do this for any little girls you know that are sparking an interest in make-up.
My 2.5 year old loves to get ready with me, some of my favorite make-up items have been destroyed in the meantime. So, now she has her own set that will save mommy's make-up and will not have her looking like a clown when we are finally ready to leave....everyone wins :)
What you need:
Make-up compacts - emptied, washed and dried
Nailpolish
It is that simple.
Enjoy!

Headband Holder
I seem to have about a million different headbands for my two little girls and they seems to end up everywhere and anywhere. I can never seem to find the one I am actually looking for either.
Well, here is a fun way to create a headband holder with your kids from household items and includes extra storage too.
Supplies:
Wooden Candle Holder (approx. 4” tall) – you can get this for $1.00 at the dollar store.
Empty Juice Crystals container, the taller the better.
Paint and brushes
Glue Gun and glue sticks
Basically, you want to paint the juice crystal container, the lid and the candle holder the color of your choice, once dry you use the glue gun to connect them. Done, it is that simple!
The nice thing about this container is it fits the headbands perfectly so they stay on and don’t stretch them either, also the inside of the container can hold various brushes, clips and barrettes.
I added my 2.5 year olds handprint and my 2 month olds footprint as a hidden gem.
Just look what you can do when you upcycle.
