There's always things I want to get better at (backgrounds. animals. general textures) but I think I've improved at both lighting and proportions since last year and I'm going to be very happy about that.

Also the flowers. Always happy to get better at drawing flowers. :)

Odelia Beckett is a fellow researcher into the fae, seeking how to use magic to grant herself (and prove the possibility of) immortality. Much to her uncle Cedric's dismay, she treats the idea of his research materials and tools belonging to him as more of a suggestion than a rule. To her credit, she's tenacious and surprisingly hardy.

She rides a palomino horse named Footloose and Fancy Free (Fancy for short) and loves her very much. That's her best friend, thank you very much.

Cedric Armistead researches the fae and magic in general in the world of Erda, and settled in St. Ferdinand to dig deeper into the recent phenomenon of the boundary between the worlds of man and magic growing thinner in various spots. As much as he hates to admit it, he's related to the Cartwrights via Ezekiel. Seems like he's caused Cedric some trouble in the past.

Finally a new NPC!

Hanne Gardner is a faetouched employee of the Agency employing The Professional of the team, and has been sent to the New World to gather information on the unusual magical activities so that specialized agents can be sent to resolve them. She definitely just wants everyone to get along while she's being escorted to her job location since she's not primarily a combatant.

Started in May. Worked for 3 weeks straight. Paused for quite a while, finished after another 2 weeks of steady but slightly less frantic work. This is going in a box and getting shipped off to a relative with dear hopes that enough padding keeps the hoop from getting damaged.

I am not doing another piece this complicated for a LONG time but goddamn I'm happy with it.

I started a tabletop game today!! It's weird west themed. It's scary but also really exciting!

Meet your employers, June and Ezekiel Cartwright, wealthy landowners in the city of Haven. You've been tasked with retrieving Ezekiel's inheritance from his beloved grandma that got lost with an entire convoy when the original delivery boy went missing for months before reappearing at home, weathered and unable to explain what happened.

The last thing I finished for artfight, Buko the Draph for @m0ntygee!!

I just wanted to draw horns and boobs. Also as I told him when I finished this, Buko's piña looks so comfy. I like it a lot.

I also did some cross-stitching for artfight! I hope to do at least 2 next year, probably plan to do 1 at the start and 1 at the end. I only had time for the one this year, and I'm glad I did it. Pixel art is so fun to translate with thread.

I did Artfight this year and fumo'd a bunch of people! I was pretty preoccupied for a lot of the month between a trip and a cross-stitch project, but I'm very happy with what I managed to get done.

it was my friend @jeinu's birthday recently so i drew his character Biho from an old tabletop game we played together!

Biho is a wonderful lad who would give you soup to go with your ibuprofen so you don't take meds on an empty stomach.
