Misconception.
That's actually Bobbie the Bunny, not me.

(Thanks!)
"Clearly. So, Mr. Paranormal Investigator, are you going to go investigate? I'd love to sit back and watch you figure it out all on your own, but then, I could also fast track you to underground town. I knew the... leader? King? Of that place, once."
(First time really interacting with (and as) a rp like this so please forgive me if I mess up)
A man sits at a computer, scrolling through the internet when he suddenly stops. His gut is telling him something is wrong, or at least off. He knew better than to ignore the gut feeling, so he had stopped where he was. What felt off about this page? Whatever it was, it was a possible discovery, a possible breakthrough. He wasn't going to miss this one. Not like others. He knew, no matter how impossible it seemed, something was there.
A new message suddenly appears on the man's screen, along with the image of a golden anthropomorphic rabbit.
Well well. Aren't you a curious one? You've managed to stumble upon my humble abode in this vast digital wasteland. What could have possibly drawn you here? was it innocent curiosity or perhaps something else… darker even? It's amusingly endearing either way.

Silence filled the room where Malhare resided, his golden form shimmering in frustration as he stared at the screen.
"How... how DARE he suggest that I'M afraid?!" Malhare muttered to himself, a simmering rage burning deep within him. "I am NOT losing control..."
Malhare's paws balled into fists. "Very well, Cimmerian... your actions have consequences too."
@malhare-virus
It seemed that no matter how hard Malhare tried, he just couldn't get a moment's respite before something else came knocking at his digital door. In this particular case, nobody actually came to his digital space, but a presence could certainly be felt, the digital handprint of someone he once knew - and subsequently betrayed.
"Comfortable? Why am I not surprised that you'd steal my techniques and use it for your own selfish desires?"

"YOU'RE... lying!" Malhare's whisper was choked with barely contained fury. His paws clenched tightly. "She would NEVER accept an invitation from someone like YOU! She knows better!"
Malhare punched the screen in a fit of frustration. In spite of his digital nature, there was real pain in the action - both physical and emotional.
"You don't know Elizabeth at all..." Malhare said bitterly, teeth bared into a snarl. "You think I'm scared of your pitiful threats? You should be the one afraid! You have no idea what I'm capable of!"

His hackles raised, Malhare lunged in the direction of Cimmerian's voice.
"DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH HER!" He spat out.
He towered menacingly over the flickering screen, his staticky form reflecting off of it. "I gave up my soul for this existence... sacrificed everything I had. You... you're just a parasite riding on others' miseries."
A sick moment of silence hung over them before he added, almost as an afterthought in a disturbingly calm tone... "She would rather be lost in an endless void than step foot into your city."
