I had to stop reading when it described Vetch as dark brown and now I pick it back up and it says Jasper and Ged are also brown?! But red-brown while Vetch is black-brown. It says that most of the people on the islands are brown. I read a book and now I've learned to hate a movie I loved growing up. So tired of this shit. When a book says the characters are BROWN, they shouldn't be making 98% of them white in the movie. I know it is typical of Hollywood, but I'm so done.

I really liked Earthsea the movie. And I liked the actor who played Vetch, but I'm reading the book and Vetch is described as "dark of skin" and now I'm agitated they made it a white guy and also a lot of the characters are younger in the books.
