Laying out the top and I think I'm done playing with it
Tumblr media
I'm making a thank you quilt for a friend at work. We work at a boot factory so she'll be getting some charming cowboy themed fabrics. Please forgive that they are on the floor, I have a lot of shit in a tiny apt.

My mom always recommends checking the values by adjusting the saturation on a photo.

I'll be using the Churning Fourteen pattern by Hunter's Design Studio. The pattern is designed to stack and whack fat quarters but I have a bunch of skinny quarters in one group so will have to be cut with care. I'm aaaaalmost done with that step.

Hey everyone! So this is for all the crafters that follow me!
I am currently selling a used Cricut Joy! It comes with a storage case, about 20 sheets of colored vinyl, the cutting mats and more!
I don’t use it as much as I wished and I want it to have a great home! Down below I have listed the prices for everything!
Cricut Joy (by itself) - $120
20+ vinyls - $25
Cricut cutting mats - $15
Blank Motel Keychains - $25 (about 50 in pink, blue and yellow)
Cricut Joy + vinyl + cutting mat bundle - $110
Cricut Joy + vinyl + cutting mat + keychains - $120
If you or someone you know would like this, please DM me for details! 💜

Are you really a knitter if you don’t hoard an unreasonable number of patterns, just so many patterns, more patterns than you’ll ever be able to make in a reasonable human lifespan?

Kitchen Witch Herb Blends
Okay, listen y'all, I know that making blends to use is just common sense. I know. You don't have to say it. However, I am a dumbass, and sometimes my common sense is MIA. So this post is also for those who occasionally have their common sense going MIA.
Kitchen Witchery is my personal favorite kind of magic. It can involve all sorts of things, from just intentions to even adding crystals to the baking routine (I'll make a post on that later). It's a love language for me as well, so it's a two-for-one. However, herbs are a very important part of this - so I make blends that I use often and with intentions.
Here are some of my personal blends. Some can be used for tea, some are great as toppings on desserts. Some can be cooked with. Use your imagination, there's no limit!
Homesteading: Apple, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange, allspice, star anise, cloves, ginger.
Self-Love: Strawberry, vanilla powder, mint, lemon peel/zest
Protection and Luck: Basil, oregano, parsley, black pepper, garlic, onion, bay leaf, red pepper flakes
Emotional Strength: Basil, fennel, white pepper
Joy: Lemon, apple, orange, lavender, mint
True, some of these may not sound like they go well together. But it's all about finding the correct balance of ingredients to your personal taste.
Blessed be everyone! <3

[grabs your shirt] listen. listen to me. the practical is holy. the everyday is sacred. the simple act of surviving is divine. do you get it? sanctity begins at home, in the hands that build and the lives we live and the deaths we die and the worms that eat our bodies. if making something by hand is not worthy of veneration then nothing is.
