i love how literally everyone in my mutual circle wants to see damon grievously injured. we're all circling him with baseball bats rn

i had this thought but like what if he is adhd. i mean, the guy apparently cannot function without five hours of daily exercise. even four is cutting it. he would rather run laps around this tiny ass courtyard than be bored

then there's all this. "if i stop exercising even for one day i'll lose myself". sounds like someone who thrives off of routine. what if he exercises to possibly cope with hyperactivity and to help him focus better

another example. "my brain will forget everything it's learned". sounds like he can be forgetful, and this routine of daily exercise is a way to keep his mind sharp and keep himself in check

more routine stuff. oh desmond hall... oh desmont.....

now i'm picturing young desmond being fidgety and restless, constantly running around and causing disruptions in class, to be introduced to archery and marksmanship by his parents to get all his energy out in a positive outlet. i feel like if he let up on his routine, he'd get super restless and distracted

big fan of the idea that damon almost dies chapter two. it would make logical sense for considering damon has been REALLY good at solving cases the last two trials, and is also not physically strong. plus, really interesting for damon as a character and how the rest of the cast would react. damon nearly dies and starts hallucinating eva and wolfgang do you see the vision. in my imagination they unlock some pool area and someone tries to drown him there, because of his hate of swimming. desmond should save him because maithall (that’s my only reason. sorry I really enjoy maithall) imagine the drama if eloise is the attempted killer and desmond rescues him and he doesn’t know was eloise. imagine if desmond KNOWS Eloise’s plan (related to her trying to get both of them out or something) and can’t stomach letting her kill someone. this has kind of gone off the rails and become about Desmond and Eloise but I’ve like. wanted to write this for so long and have not been able to so here is a post about it
