hi again, everyone! as promised in our response to an ask we received this morning, we've put together a public blacklist for the collective. on there, you'll be able to find the members who are currently blacklisted, along with their muse name, faceclaim and the username used to apply with us.

we recognise this may be an unorthodox solution, and we're unaware of previous collectives having a public blacklist such as this, but as this has been requested a handful of times now, we've decided to go ahead with it. we hope this helps give current and prospective members (and potentially other admins) a little comfort in being able to know exactly who has been blacklisted and the reasons as to why. with that said, we don't condone or encourage any type of bullying or attempts at legitimate doxxing and we urge everyone to be responsible with the information that we're sharing. if anyone has any feedback for us on the blacklist, our inbox is open as always and the admin team will gather to discuss how to adjust in the best possible way.

lastly, we hope this clarifies the stance the admin team have taken on this situation and that this can be viewed as a response to the multitude of hostile accusations and messages being sent to our inbox. thank you so much for your patience and understanding while the team have worked through this situation.

we're open to constructive criticism while learning how to best admin our collective. we are dedicated to making this a safe and enjoyable space for all muns who decide to bring their muses here. we appreciate you all taking the time to read this, thank you. // please provide proof for these things you mentioned! like the notice you sent the mun before they left, for one. what was the other issue? i want to believe you guys because i’m hyped i’m joining, but… it’s too suspicious. at the very least, why not blacklist the plagiarizing mun’s url to a krp directory or on your masterlist? i can’t see your active blacklisted urls anywhere on your links. it’s not doxxing to put an account that plagiarized on blast.

hi, anon! we didn't send a notice to justin's mun directly, as stated in our notice, we were investigating his personal claims when we received the plagiarism accusations and chose to announce his departure following that and move forward with a blacklist without discussing anything further with him, which we've acknowledged as an extreme mistake on our part. the accusation brought to us by justin mun was one regarding bullying and intimidating behavior that took place in another collective by a muse that is also a member of ours. we looked into those accusations and couldn't find anything to substantiate the claims made, and we were also ignored by justin (prior to the plagiarism situation coming up) to provide us with significant proof of this. we appreciate the suggestion about a public blacklist though, we'll discuss the possibility of that and how we might possibly be able to make it work later today and come back with further updates.

hi, everyone! we wanted to make an official announcement for you all following the last 24 hours. firstly and most importantly, we'd like to make it clear that we do not tolerate plagiarism in any shape or form, no matter who it's from or what circumstance it transpires under. we recognise that this post might be belated, and to some unacceptable that it took us this long to post—but we ask for your understanding, the admin team are people scattered across different timezones with other responsibilities outside of the collective too, and we had hoped to discuss this in detail as a team while writing this notice. regardless of that, we'd like to issue a sincere apology for not prioritizing this the way we should have and waiting for the aforementioned reasons. that being said, we'd like to make it clear that the admin team of maison have no affiliation, whether that be ic or ooc, with the mun in question, justin park. the reality of what happened is, quite simply, just an admin team who made a mistake that we'll all learn from moving forward. but to be transparent and give further insight: we had two muns approach us regarding two different issues, both messages being sent not too far apart in timing. justin park's mun approached us raising their own issue (unrelated to plagiarism), alongside announcing their decision to leave the collective. while the admin team were discussing how to move forward with the issue they raised, the second mun approached us with the proof of plagiarism. soon after, we processed justin park's departure according to their decision to leave and let the second mun know he would be blacklisted from entering the collective again and a public notice addressing the situation would be made later on, again, due to the team's timezones. the notice in question would have been posted within the collective itself and on the main tumblr page alongside each other. we wholly agree with and support the claims of plagiarism, under no circumstance do we feel that the accusation is unjust or inaccurate and justin park would have been removed by us for violating basic collective rules and etiquette had they not already made their departure. with hindsight, we can appreciate that our response may have been lacklustre and not what the mun had been searching for from us, and we can only apologise for that. we'd like to stress that in no way were we trying to cover up the issue or try to avoid addressing it. we failed to adjust the reason on the departures due to the technicalities of the mun making the decision to leave, and factoring in our desire to make a notice regarding it instead. we take full responsibility for that and recognise it as the wrong decision to have made, we acknowledge there are better ways we could have handled this and we will strive to do better from now on. and again, we’d like to apologise to the mun that came forward to us for not responding appropriately. as we wrap up this post, we'd like to remind everyone that we're admins of a rp collective that has been open for barely even two days. we're sincerely asking members, lurkers and prospective applicants for their patience and understanding as we try to handle everything on our plate. we understand the importance of these matters and accusations and are deeply apologetic that we failed to handle the situation appropriately and couldn't address this sooner. we're not perfect, and we're open to constructive criticism while learning how to best admin our collective. we are dedicated to making this a safe and enjoyable space for all muns who decide to bring their muses here. we appreciate you all taking the time to read this, thank you.
