I feel bad that @themonsteroffice has been on hiatus for so long but at least when it starts running again it’s gonna have a lot more worldbuilding to it? Ive been really hammering out more details for the dreamons and their world in my spare time and Im pretty happy with where everything is going. I wont share just yet. Kinda wanna have some art to go with it but Im just happy that my lil dream babs are growing and becoming this more tangible thing.

Time for a proper update here:

I’m not gone. I’m not dead. I haven’t dropped Chim for good. My life is currently going through a “changing” period right now and its causing a lot of self reflection in places I don’t want it to be. This has kind of sent my mood down a bad spiral. I can pick up my pen, but up until today, nothing I was happy with was coming out.

I just needed a little break. And the lul in Red’s Rampage seemed to be the perfect blessing in disguise.

Before you ask, yes, I am feeling better. Not perfect but better. I’m going to aim to try and get some comissions done before I update again. Do I need anyone to talk to? Maybe. I’m not good at it though. I get standoffish with my emotional state. But it would be nice to have some friends to chat with. As always my messenger is open, when I’m online here. Which isn’t too often but I’ll reply to anything I can.

For now, I’m doing better, and will be updating in the future!

I'm not dead here either!

I’m not dead. Just dealing with some crippling depression that’s sapping my want and ability to art properly. So I figured I’d draw something to cheer me up.

I’ve followed Fairy’s art since I joined tumblr, roughly 3-4 years ago. They’ve been a massive inspiration for my style as I developed, and have taught me a lot about figure, posing, and color, just through their art. Plus, their sona makes me smile. Give them a follow, if you haven’t already.

Monster Office Event: Red’s Rampage Part 1

Alarms start blaring throughout the building as REM goes on Red Alert. 

The head of the Red Dept., Reddington, has become enraged and is currently making his way from the lower levels of the Red Dept. to the rest of the building. He has the power and capability of bringing the entire building down. His current ascent is already causing tremors in the building which is resulting with flooring becoming unstable, cracks spreading through the walls and ceiling, equipment falling down and more. Because of the danger a building wide evacuation has been issued. 

The Department heads have been briefed about the situation and will be helping to escort their employees/visitors to the exits. They will be the last to leave the building once everyone is securely out. If you notice other employees unaware of the situation or stuck do your best to assist them but not at the risk of your own safety. If possible alert a Dept. Head or Blue Dept. Security member to help. There will be a week to reply to  Part 1. Part 2 will be posted next weeken. You can have your character safely evacuated or if you would like them to be trapped in the building when Red arrives that is also an option.

((Reddington hit the fan quicker and harder than I thought, so as of this post, Chim’s mother has left. She might be chim’s guardian, but she’s having none of this dreamon stuff. The backstory post will be made at some point.))
