Dropping my usual typing quirk for this. Seriously, what the HELL? As another person who is a victim of a cult, joking about it is seriously fucked up. Cherhonor's response / "apology" is seriously upsetting & disappointing, what happened to the entire concept of Think Before You Speak? I'd have been okay with it if it didn't have the dividers & the answering asks thing. Yes, it's a shit apology IMO, but whatever. But adding on the dividers & acting like nothing happened afterwards really sours it for me.

as some1 who was actually born and raised as a victim of cults etc this is not "just a joke" nor funny!!! cults do many bad things and it's not to be used in a joking manner. really, this made me uncomfortable and upset. clearly you didn't think it was serious enough to even bother with the dividers, and going out responding to asks like nothing happened.
