Welcome to the Magical Boy Bracket!

(Inspired by other blogs such as @who-do-i-know-this-man, @ultimatepinkboy, and @longhairedboybracket)

This blog's criteria for 'Magical Boy' (as you will see, my definition is pretty broad):

Character must be male

Character has magical powers/skills/abilities of some kind. A transformation sequence is NOT required.

Sources that are closer to sci-fi might also be accepted, but that is a case-by-case thing which I will be the final judge of

Characters from Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, and other tokusatsu henshin hero shows are more than welcome!

(If you believe a character you will submit only fits the criteria vaguely or is in a kind of grey area, make use of the final question on the form to explain why. But keep in mind I am still the final judge.)

Other rules:

Please no Harry Potter characters. I just don't want anything to do with that. Sorry...

You may submit as many characters as you want, but please don't send the same character more than once. Let their popularity speak for itself.

Don't be an asshole to me or to anyone else in this tournament, and please no excessive hate towards a specific character or source material. Otherwise, you will be blocked.

This tournament will work with a losers bracket. As in, first round's losers will go into a separate bracket, and then the final winner of that bracket will go against the winner of the normal bracket for the final match.

Character submissions will be open until May 31st. Once the polls start, you may either send character propaganda to my ask box or make your own post and tag me in it.

Welcome to the Ultimate Idol Showdown!

We received so many wonderful submissions that we decided to do two separate brackets!

We will start by doing the first bracket as normal. Once we have a final winner from that bracket, we will begin the second bracket! When both winners are found, the two will go head to head in one final matchup!

The polls for the first bracket will be posted tomorrow! Each poll will last for one day! Be sure to keep your eyes peeled, so that you can support your faves with everything you've got!

Qualifications:

They don't have to be a princess and knight, don't worry. As long as one is protecting the other, who's some sort of important person, they count

(Although actual nobility and an actual knight is preferred, you know, because swords are cool.)

That's it really. Platonic, romantic, any gender, just submit 'em

No real people, mcyt, or hp and mcu

You can submit more than one princess and knight, but don't spam them in the submissions. I will prevent them from entering out of spite.

Idea inspired by @redandgreenpoll, @anti-canon-trans-showdown, @character-of-all-time, and many others.

Rules

Only submit a character once. You can submit more than one character, but please don't spam characters.

Fictional characters only please (no real people)

Doesn't have to be a girl. It can be a magical boy/enby, but must exude magical girl energy

Can be from anime, cartoons, movies ect.

Characters must be submitted by April 14th.
